Sign in to reviewI ordered a taro boba and a black tiger sugar drink today. (4/28 around 6:45pm)At first, I thought there was a piece of ice in the drink, but when I looked more closely, I realized it was actually a strand of hair inside the black tiger sugar. This was really disappointing and concerning from a hygiene standpoint. I hope the store can pay more attention to quality control in the future.
I ordered the matcha latte with regular ice, boba, and oat milk. It’s really good, it’s a solid matcha milk tea; however, I have had better at other places. Otherwise, a solid option.
I ordered black sugar milk tea wit boba for $8 and it was HORRIBLE. It tastes like plain milk. Like no sweetness or black sugar flavor just nothin. Just blend n watered down. When I brought it up, she was sayin “it is supposed to be like that” which makes zero sense. Like if I wanted plain milk, I wouldn’t be paying $8 for it😂😂 And the boba itself was soo bad. It barely had any flavor and not even right texture. The drink, whole thing felt rushed n careless. Customer service was also so bad n unhelpful, it’s like they didn’t care abt fixing the bad order that they messed up. Overpriced, poorly made, n terrible attitude. Def not worth it🤣👎🏼
It was my first time trying this place. I ordered the fried pork belly, and it was disappointing. It didn't match the picture, and the taste was subpar. The rice was soggy. Pork belly was drenched in sauce. I will not be back. The kiosk also didn't work, so I had to order straight from the cook.. I got bored of my lunch too soon. I rate it a 1☆.
I got a Big Sticky Rice bowl, Fried Squid, and Taiwanese Chicken Steak. This was one of the better tasting Taiwanese Chicken steaks I've had in the Plano region. I do wish the size was bigger, but the seasoning was delicious and reminded me of the chicken steaks I used to buy at night markets in Taiwan. The fried squid was delicious, my only wish is they give MORE. Although the price isn't that expensive so that probably explains why they don't give much, but I still wish there was more. The most disappointing item was the sticky rice. I typically love sticky rice. However, the one here basically had no meat or mushrooms and was mainly rice. And even the rice was the usual sticky sticky rice texture that is usually expected with this dish. I would say out of all the times I bought, this is the least worthy and I wouldn't get it again. Overall, a nice little Taiwanese booth in the food court to try some nice Taiwanese flavor small eats. Pricing is reasonable, but I wish the quantity was more. Flavor was good and service was great.
