Sign in to reviewVisiting this market made my day so pleasant. I almost felt at home (where I’m from has strong German heritage). The aesthetics of the building exterior were gorgeous with statues of German people and nice German architecture. The grocery selection was magnificent, I liked the candies and wanted to try some other items but was short on cash. I would come here again and again and get one of everything if I could. 😆 I highly recommend this German Deli!
This place is a hidden treasure. I saw a video on Instagram showing the princess cake and the cake flights. It looks so delicious and I was only 11 minutes away upon arriving and saying the names for parking spots. All in German was super cool. It’s a neat little village with a beer carton they have live music, clean bathrooms, and the German deli store is super cool. The people that work there are very helpful, very professional and knowledgeable of their product. All the cakes are made in house and absolutely delicious. We tried the princess cake, the mocha, and the German chocolate and the black forest fun fact German chocolate cake is not German. It’s named after a man named Mr. German we got some French butter and some sauerkraut. They have a lot of really awesome things. There are 10 out of 10. Recommend checking out this location spend a couple of hours and go through all the shops. You will not be disappointed.
Was there as a german on vacation. The bread is soooooo good. Also the Choice of German goods is super, Prices on us normal. Okay the German Folk Music in the Store is Not for everybody 😂 will come back n 10 days for the Oktoberfest at the Biergarten 😬
Friendly staff, fun to look at all the international stuff. But the refrigerated dessert counter was a BIG swing and a miss. It was all so overly bland and flavorless... to the point of being suspicious. Like, there's no possible way it could all be this bland and they still be selling any of it, right? Was it a strange fluke? We tried 3 different turkish delights. All absent of taste outside of a minimal dilution of the same kind of artificial flavoring you'd find added to the cheapest bargain brand hard candies. The "key lime pie" was mislabelled and should have been called "plain diet cheesecake with a very slightly green-dyed top glaze and no perceivable citrus of any kind." The German chocolate cake was worth eating, but tasted identical to what you'd pay half price for at any grocery store bakery. All in all, you're paying premium specialty shop prices for worse than dollar store taste. Save your money: enjoy the sights at this shop and then skip over to stater bros for dessert.
The delivery has many of your favorite european sausages, meats and cheeses. There is also a small market stocked with seasoning, coffee and teas, and other products from Europe to purchase.
