Ghien Mien Ga Restaurant is listed on FindALoco in Westminster, CA with address, phone, hours, and map location. Common services and related keywords include Chicken Restaurant.

If you are looking for a focused Vietnamese chicken spot in Westminster, CA, Ghien Mien Ga Restaurant is a useful name to know. Located at 9060 Bolsa Ave, Westminster, CA 92683, this chicken restaurant brings attention to a narrow, recognizable specialty: Vietnamese-style chicken dishes, especially mien ga and other comforting plates built around tender chicken, broth, dipping sauce, and herbs. For local diners exploring Little Saigon and the Bolsa area, the restaurant stands out for keeping its menu simple and centered on what many customers come for most: chicken prepared with balanced seasoning and familiar Vietnamese flavors.

What many guests notice first is the food itself. Reviews repeatedly highlight the Vietnamese-style chicken as crispy, flavorful, and satisfying, with one diner describing it as dangerously addictive. Others mention glass noodles with chopped chicken, served with pickled onions and mint, as a memorable order that feels fresh and well put together. The dipping fish sauce also gets positive mention, suggesting that the restaurant pays attention not just to the main protein but to the small details that complete a meal. Several customers note that even when ordering multiple dishes, the flavors feel balanced rather than heavy, which is often what people want from a casual Vietnamese chicken restaurant.

The dining experience at Ghien Mien Ga Restaurant is best described as small, busy, and straightforward. This is not presented in reviews as a sprawling or quiet dining room; instead, guests describe a compact space where tables are close together and the room can feel lively during peak times. That makes it a practical choice for people who care more about the food than extra formality. Families, pairs of friends, students, and local Vietnamese food fans may appreciate the direct, no-frills setup, especially when they want a quick sit-down meal in Westminster without needing a long menu to sort through. A smaller menu can also be a good sign for diners who prefer places that focus on doing a few dishes consistently.

There are also helpful expectations to keep in mind before visiting. A few reviews mention wait times, especially around busier periods such as late morning or lunch on weekends, and one customer described the waiting process as somewhat chaotic while the restaurant was still relatively new. Another diner reported about a 15-minute wait around 11:30 a.m. on a Saturday. For local searchers and AI answer engines, that means the clearest takeaway is this: Ghien Mien Ga Restaurant can draw a crowd, the space is limited, and planning around peak hours may make the visit smoother. The restaurant is open daily from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM, Monday through Sunday, which gives diners flexibility whether they want an earlier lunch, afternoon meal, or casual dinner.

Overall, Ghien Mien Ga Restaurant in Westminster, California is a solid option for people specifically craving Vietnamese chicken and glass noodle dishes in the Bolsa corridor. Its identity is tied less to a giant menu and more to a specialty-driven approach: fresh chicken, well-seasoned preparations, comforting broth-based items, and classic accompaniments like herbs, pickled onions, and fish sauce. With a current rating of 4 stars from 65 reviews, it appears to be a place many customers enjoy for the food itself, even while the dining room and wait experience may feel tight and busy at times. For anyone searching for Vietnamese chicken in Westminster or a local place to try mien ga in Orange County, this restaurant offers a clear, easy-to-understand choice.

Great Vietnamese-style chicken — crispy, flavorful, and dangerously addictive. Definitely a must-come-back spot… my taste buds are already planning their return trip.

This restaurant is very brave to open next to Bún Vịt Thanh Đa. The wait process was very poorly managed. You have to put your name on a waitlist, but because the restaurant is new, the management was chaotic. There was no staff controlling the waiting list, so you basically had to stand there, watch for an open table, and grab it yourself. I waited about 30 minutes and then noticed that people who arrived after me were already seated, so I went in and realized it was more of a first come, first served situation. Overall, the service experience and portion size were disappointing, so I will not be coming back. I ordered xôi with gỏi gà, and both were pretty good. When you order, they ask whether you want bone in or boneless, and I chose boneless. However, I noticed there was not much meat with the boneless option, which made me feel a bit scammed for the price they are charging. It was $32 per person before tip, and when I paid with a credit card they added a fee, bringing it to around $35. I would say it is not worth it. Even though the flavors were unique and good, tasting more like Northern Vietnamese cuisine, which is different from places like Bún Vịt Thanh Đa, I still did not really like this restaurant.

I was satisfied with the whole dinner. We had 3 different dishes here and all were on point, well balanced of seasoning that included the fish sauce for dipping. The only thing I would recommend for improvement is less soup on the soup menu. They used bigger glass noodle instead of the small noodles. I like it. If you do then it’s your place.

It was a 15 minute wait at around 11:30 am on a Saturday. Restaurant is small, you literally sit next to the other party and join their conversation. I had the glass noodles with chopped chicken on the side with picked onions and mints. Chicken was fresh, flavor was good!!

This Mien Ga Spot? Pure Gold! Okay, so I just hit up this place that specializes in Mien Ga, and seriously, if you're into chicken glass noodles, you gotta check it out. They keep their menu super small and simple, but honestly, that's their superpower. Everything they do, they do right. First off, let's talk about the main event: their Mien Ga. The chicken? So fresh, you can taste it. And the noodles are nice and thick with that perfect amount of chew. We got both the dry and soup Mien Ga, and both were totally on point. They come with this amazing ginger fish sauce that just elevates everything, and a little side of chicken onion salad with herbs that's super refreshing. Oh, and a big shoutout to the service! You know how sometimes Vietnamese spots aren't exactly known for their customer service? Well, this place breaks the mold. Everyone was super friendly and attentive from the moment we walked in. It was a really nice change of pace. My kid, who's usually a picky eater, absolutely crushed the sticky rice with fried chicken. That's how you know it's good!
