Sign in to reviewFood is absolutely amazing. Crispy fresh chicken, biscuits are delicious. Corn, mac and cheese, fries, mashed potatoes were all great. Wish this place was closer to Frisco. Half an hour drive for me but worth it!
Rating: 9/10 Date Last Visited: 6/30/2026 I ordered the 3 pc dark fried chicken w/ fries and cole slaw ($13). You have the option to choose two thighs and a leg or two legs and a thigh. My two thighs happened to be on the smaller side, so they hooked me up with another leg. The chicken is fried very well, the skin is super crispy. The chicken itself is moist and juicy too. The fries were pretty solid, the slaw was standard, and the biscuit was average. The combo also comes with a side of sauce, which I chose the Mike’s sauce, which is some sort of orange sauce that goes well with the chicken and fries. The service is pretty good too as the employees are attentive and nice. For the price, this is really worth it. Mike’s is some of the best fried chicken I’ve had in the DFW area. I would make sure to place an online order since they cook the chicken fresh, which takes about 15-20 minutes. Overall, I would recommend this place if you want fried chicken.
Been going to Mike’s Chicken for years! The food had always been the same quality but today I was a bit surprised on how small some of the pieces were. Price has also gone up but why is the quality changing now? The tenders were great, it was just the half bird lol! Hopefully it was a one time thing or maybe the location? Not sure!
yummmyyy if i wanted fried chicken, this would be the only place id go if i lived in dallas. the skin was so crispy and meat is super juicy. i actually rlly like the biscuit too :3 came with a good amount of sauce as well! the buffalo sauce is really unique and i prefer it to the original for sure. mikes sauce is like canes sauce. my ratings for sides: fries (3/5), creamed corn (5/5), mac n cheese (4/5), mashed potato (3/5). friendly service and the cashier with the cool dyed hair was very sweet :)
Mike’s Chicken is hands down five stars. They have the best chicken and sides I’ve ever had in my life, everything tastes fresh, perfectly seasoned, and cooked exactly right. The chicken is crispy and juicy, the sides are just as good as the main dish, and the sauces bring it all together. I will warn you, this place always has a line and there’s barely anywhere to sit, but it’s 100 percent worth it. Even with the wait, the food comes out hot and the staff keeps things moving. If you want top-tier chicken, this is the spot.
