For close to 20 years I have been getting my haircut here. I've known the owner. There is always a great crew of barber At this location and it is a true Barber.. The best part of it is right next to a hardware store and also a place that sells wood. Across the street is a pizza place and also several other restaurants. Haircuts are essential to your well being and these folks know how to do it right. They always give great advice. Prompt service is a hallmark of their business. The location is set on magazine street underneath the beautiful oaks. The neighborhood around it is it wonderful place to walk If you don't have an appointment, however they do take appointments and I recommend you get one.

Best price and haircut I’ve found in NOLA. Donita is super friendly and honestly the most comfortable barber to talk to I’ve ever had. Not to mention every single haircut has been the best one I’ve gotten. So much so that I try cuts I’ve never tried before and with poor descriptions, but she always nails it. I know I’m gonna have a good week after getting a cut here, and my girlfriend loves my cuts too

I was on the fence about posting this, but I got a bad haircut a few weeks ago from Betsy. I was the first of the day, showed pics of a previous GOOD cut (at a now closed shop) and 10 mins later she was done. I didn't get a great look at it at the time. Later I saw the left side was off. I thought maybe after a day or 2 it will look more normal. It didn't. I wear hats a lot, but considered going back to fix it. Didn't know if going back to the same place to fix it was smart. I have a function in a couple of weeks that I'm going to get it cut again, so I didn't go back. $35 and I tipped $10. for a 10 minute bad cut.
