The torta al pastor was amazing! I got it for takeout to bring to the beach. They have a wide selection, including gluten free options! Service was fast and kind. Will definitely be back to try to empanadas!

Just a few minutes’ drive from AGoodFun Boutique store, this little spot has become one of my favorites. I absolutely love their plain croissant and coconut biscuit — simple, buttery, comforting, and dangerously easy to crave again the next day ☕🥐✨

Golden Wheat is a quaint, charming little spot, perfect for a weekend breakfast with friends, a bulk order of baked goods to go, or a working weekday morning utilizing their free Wi-Fi. The staff is kind and friendly with the locals. I started my breakfast with a pork and cheese pupusa, a horchata latte, and a biscotti cookie. I was a little disappointed to see my pupusa come out of a microwave, rather than off a hot griddle, but it was still tasty. The biscotti is perfectly soft and sweet dipped in the horchata latte, which itself is unique and balanced. Later in the morning I tried the burrito Mexican and a chicken tamale. The tamale is good, but the burrito is excellent! It's rolled fresh with generous portions of delicious, spiced meat. I also tried a host of baked goods. My favorites are the blueberry muffin and the coffee cake, both of which are soft and moist with a deep flavor. They remind me of a pan dulce — not too sweet but very satisfying. Some other highlights for me are the ginger molasses cookie, which tastes like it's made with fresh ginger — yum! — and the pecan sticky bun, which is rich and delicious warmed up.

Small family bakery that has served the Central District for 13 years. They do serve a small breakfast and lunch menu. Horchata was good but I’ve had better. The pound cake was huge slice & tasted great. Alot of locals frequent the restaurant. The owners & the family their very nice.

My absolute favorite bakery! I’ve worked in multiple bakeries and I’ve visited many, and GWB has the best pastries. Everyone here is welcoming and kind, and the shop itself is cozy and has great vibes. The street it’s on is relatively quiet, so eating at their tables outside is comfortable and relaxing. I couldn’t recommend them more :)
