Gong Cha is a bubble tea store inside South Station at 700 Atlantic Ave in Boston, MA. Its station location makes it a convenient place to consider when you are passing through downtown Boston, catching a train, or meeting someone at South Station. The shop is open daily from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., according to the listed hours, so travelers and nearby visitors can stop by throughout the week. If you are looking for bubble tea in Boston, this location offers a familiar tea-shop option within a busy transportation hub rather than a destination that requires a separate trip.

Customer comments mention milk tea, boba, a lemon aiyu drink, and Panda Milk Tea. One reviewer enjoyed the lemon aiyu, while another described the milk tea as quite good. These experiences suggest a menu with choices for people who prefer a refreshing fruit-style drink as well as those looking for a milk tea with toppings. The Panda Milk Tea review also mentions black and white jellies, though the customer expected pearls; it is worth checking the topping details when ordering if a particular texture or ingredient matters to you. Reviews offer individual impressions, not a guarantee that every drink will match one person's preference.

The atmosphere and convenience are shaped by the South Station setting: this is a practical stop for commuters, train passengers, and people already spending time around the station. It may suit someone who wants to pick up a bubble tea during a trip or add a drink to a station visit. Customer feedback about the boba is mixed: some reviewers found it acceptable, while others wanted pearls that were chewier or more generous in quantity. If pearl texture is important to you, consider asking about the available toppings and confirming your selection before the drink is prepared.

Service feedback is also mixed. Several reviewers describe slow preparation, incorrect orders, or difficulty getting a drink made as requested, with one account mentioning a 12-minute wait for a single tea during a busy weekend. These are reported experiences, and wait times may vary, but allowing extra time could be helpful when you have a train to catch. The listed rating is 3.2 from 54 reviews, reflecting a range of customer opinions rather than a uniformly positive experience. For a convenient bubble tea stop at South Station, Gong Cha offers familiar drink options and daily hours; checking your order and topping choice at pickup can help make the visit clearer and smoother.

I'm so happy to have a boba shop in South Station! The milk tea was quite good. However, I think the pearls could be improved. They were a bit small and not as chewy as I'd like. Also, it would be great to have a more generous portion of pearls in each drink.

Last week I got a lemon aiyu drink and it was great. This will I decided to try the Panda Milk Tea and I'm pretty disappointed. I picture showed black pearls and white pearls but instead I got a black jelly and a white jelly, and I think it's just milk instead of milk tea... I should've checked it before I left the storefront but I had a train to catch... Just make sure they make your drink correctly before leaving.

Too slow and understaffed for a train station. Specially on a busy weekend. Only 2 people working, one was washing containers, the other girl was taking orders and preparing tea, she had to step out to get cash. My order (1 tea) took 12 minutes to be ready.

The boba is okay. However, the staff made me the wrong boba at the very beginning. I was the only customer at that time. And when I told him it’s the wrong order, he just took out the ice and added boba for me, which is so unhygienic.

Only one person working. Barely spoken English. Got my order wrong on the first attempt, got it almost right on the second, and took him 3 more times to get it somewhat correct. …
