Gong Cha

Decently Sized and clean. I like that they had the option to order on a tablet. They also had like special drinks or “new” flavors to try. I feel like their boba tea tapioca was too chewy and soggy. I tried the cotton candy and it really did taste like cotton candy except it was creamy. I’m not sure if I’d get it again. I probably should get less sugar next time. It was 70% and it was still too sweet for me. Also tried the crème brûlée and it tasted ok but I’ve had better it just tasted more like a brown sugar bubble tea.

I visited Gong Cha-Pearland last night (04/21) and unfortunately had a disappointing experience with the service. The employee at the register was impolite & seemed disengaged. I requested for (less boba) on all 3 drinks & ended up receiving double the usual amount — the opposite of what I asked for. I looked at the receipt and didn’t see a note down for less boba. The drink itself tasted great! I also noticed another employee who seemed friendly and attentive, and I wish she had taken my order. I just wanted to share my experience, thank you for understanding.

As always my bud has to have some Boba after our lunch. This local stop is always ready. The service is always on point and friendly. Always willing to help make your selection. While the selection choices are limited (compared to other stops I’ve been to), the convenience of it being near is great. The Mango drink was great and refreshing, it was a great way to end the day for us. Until next time.
