Sign in to reviewWe are pretty much experts in North Dallas boba spots as we tried most of them. This one is great. Fruit teas are well made, boba is soft and delicious.
I really enjoyed my experience at Gong Cha! The drinks were fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced in sweetness. The staff was friendly and the service was fast. The shop was clean and cozy. Definitely one of my favorite bubble tea places!
I really wanted to like this place because it’s only about five minutes from my house, so it’s by far the most convenient boba shop for me. The drinks themselves aren’t terrible, but the customer service has been consistently disappointing. The first issue happened when I ordered a drink with milk foam and black pearls as add-ons. I was charged for both, and they were clearly listed on my receipt, but neither was actually added to my drink. My husband picked up the order, so I had to drive all the way back. To their credit, they remade it without giving me a hard time, so I decided not to leave a bad review. Unfortunately, I had another frustrating experience today. I ordered two drinks that were almost identical, except one was supposed to be 70% sugar and the other 50%. I explained that clearly, but instead of entering them separately, the employee just repeated the first order, even though I specifically said the sugar levels needed to be different. It felt like he wasn’t really listening to what I was asking for. The restroom situation was the most frustrating part. There was a sign saying customers could use the restroom after making a purchase, and I was ordering two drinks. The employee told me the passcode was posted nearby, so I entered it. The keypad turned green, but the door wouldn’t open. I went back to ask for help, and he told me I had to turn the knob a certain way while opening it. I followed his instructions exactly, and it still wouldn’t open. By that point, he had already finished my drinks and seemed focused on getting me out the door instead of helping solve the problem. I ended up giving up, rushing home because I urgently needed to use the restroom. I don’t think the drinks are bad. My frustration is with the lack of attention to detail and the customer service. I’ve had multiple visits where my order wasn’t made the way I requested, even when I paid for add-ons or gave specific instructions. It’s disappointing because this location is so convenient, and I’d love to be a regular customer if they were more consistent and attentive.
My daughter and I were in Dallas for a day trip for an event. She wanted to try Gong cha. I am not a fan of boba, but I tried the strawberry milk tea. I really enjoyed it. The store was clean and staff were friendly. We had a good experience. I did not catch the young lady’s name, but she was amazing and I want to highlight her customer service skills were above and beyond. No every-time we go back to Dallas this will be our number one drink stop. 👍 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Nancy & Kyo are really friendly and helpful. They help me with the menu and the drinks are always delicious. Thank you so much.
