Not really one for making reviews, but between the bots and the influencer wannabes shootin strays, I had to leave one for this place. I have been a regular since they opened, I live in the area and was so hyped when I found out something cool was actually opening up around here. Their tea is on point, their boba, for those that know what boba is supposed to be like, is awesome and consistent!! Great place to hang, open late and always a chill atmosphere. Love this place!!
We ordered 6 drinks and a waffle today, and it took over 30 minutes for everything to come out. From the beginning, our order was already mixed up, and even after receiving our drinks, we had to double-check because one drink was missing. I’m not sure if 6 drinks are considered a large order, but waiting 30+ minutes seems excessive. By the time two of our iced drinks arrived, the ice had already melted and the drinks were watered down. Overall, it was a pretty disappointing experience. I hope they can improve their order accuracy and speed in the future. P/s: I just now realized this drink supposed to come with boba but there were no boba at all. Very very disappointed.
I think the ‘unsweetened milk tea’ was pre-sweetened. I ordered a 70% sweet milk tea online. Got it and it was extremely sweet. It normally doesn’t taste this way because I get it often. I went back to mention it and ask for another one. This was was the same, if not sweeter. I hesitated to ask for another one but did so anyways. Workers looked annoyed but I knew it normally doesn’t taste this sweet. I also work at a cafe so I know what it’s like to get complaints about drinks I’m sure I made right. I asked if I could just get my drink topped off with unsweetened milk tea and she just offered a full sized one which was nice. Unfortunately it had the same amount of sweetness as the last two drinks. I wish the workers would’ve tried the milk tea if a customer complained about it more than once. At this point I didn’t want to go back in because i had already had the drink made 3 times only to receive the exact same sweetness level
This place was nice. The staff was helpful since it was our first time here and recommended the Brown Sugar Milk Tea. I loved it! I did try the original waffle and liked it. I will say I love the atmosphere where you can take photos with a cutout and green grass background. I couldn’t help myself lol I will say I love the cart of games to play while you wait is fun. However Boba Bonzana didn’t have instructions and even the online videos weren’t helpful :(. Other than that it was fun.
I ordered the Vietnamese coffee with crème brûlée cold foam. The drink is good but the price was a bit much I paid $9.20 for a large a bit excessive. For that price I could go to 85 bakery and get the coffee plus 2 pasties. Also the card reader on the self checkout was not working on tap and I’m hoping I didn’t get charged twice for trying to order. Had to order with the young lady at the counter. Overall experience was okay.
