H Mart Tacoma

I’ve been missing out! They have everything. I was impressed by how much stuff they had. I came in more curious than anything and left with a full cart. I was overwhelmed in a good way. So many items I wanted to try. Before checking out, please stop by the deli and try some of the deliciousness they offer.

Just like every H Mart, this store is amazing. There are plenty of options for just about anything you’d want from an Asian market. Their ready made foods are especially good, including the banchan, and the meat selection is beautiful and very high quality. I wish I could afford to shop here more often, but it’s definitely on the expensive side. A nice bonus is the bakery inside the store. Since there are also several restaurants nearby, it might be a good idea to grab a meal first and then go shopping, maybe that’ll help curb the spending a bit! The parking lot for this shopping area is huge, but it can also be a bit of a hot mess. I usually park farther away to avoid the frustration.

Warning: My hubby bought rice cakes from this H mart side dish section on July 4th, and I found green mold on them on July 5th. He had already eaten three pieces before I noticing it. There were only two visible spots in the photo, but there was actually more mold in several areas.. This is a serious food safety issue and needs immediate attention! This H mart location is only about 15mins drive from JBLM. From the outside, the store looked small, but it has everything you need. It offers a wide range of Korean groceries, as well as Korean style bakery items, rice cakes, side dishes, Korean cosmetics, and much more—literally everything you need. Since it was Sunday morning, it was quite crowded. Plastic bags require a fee.

Great store for groceries and all kinds of Korean and Asian food. The store is well stocked and maintained, and the staff are friendly. Highly recommend if you are in the area.

Various discounted items were displayed at the store entrance, and the size of the store was larger than I had anticipated. There was a wide selection of side dishes and packaged meals, some of which I purchased, as well as a diverse range of rice wines that I picked out. Conveniently located next to Shin Shin Department Store, I was able to visit both places with just one parking spot. Additionally, there are many other Korean stores nearby, making it a pleasant area to explore. I highly recommend this spot!
