Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa

This spa is ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE! The staff are all so warm and inviting and the facility is beautiful with such relaxing resort spa feel. I’ve tried almost all of their massage therapists and they all are fully licensed and trained extremely well. Massages here are just as good as at a big resort hotel but only 1/3 of the price. AMAZING VALUE! And their skincare services are the best in the area. I swear the Diamond Glow is 50% cheaper than at any other med spa and it works better. So many wonderful facial and skincare services to try with only med spa quality products. This place really is the best spa value and experience in the Bay Area! I am always hesitant to join a membership, but this is one I am very happy with and continue my membership throughout the year. Not only is the facility clean and relaxing. The specialists here really try to provide you with the best experience possible. They have a variety of people to choose from, and if you don't know who you'd like, they will have recommendations. I highly suggest that when you call into the hot line to ask the customer care to directly transfer you to the store. The staff members at the store is very professional and courteous to meet your needs with empathy and compassion. Time after time, I cannot tell you how much the staff personally takes an interest in my well-being from the moment I walk through those doors, especially the assistant manager (Miranda) and her team. My go to masseuses is Christian. Christian is trained in a variety of pressure and really pays attention to the reaction of your body. Christian's personality is so bubbly that it just makes you feel welcome every time he greets me. Janelle is fantastic with facials, too. She studied as a beautician and checks in on you every step to make sure none of the beauty products being used irritates your skin or you. She's also gentle with your needs and pays attention to the sensitivity of your skin, looking for any reaction if there is any. It's been a great pleasure being their customer, and I look forward to my next booking with them.

I had an incredible facial with Grace! She is exceptionally knowledgeable and took the time to explain the benefits of various products and services. Because she was so thorough, I felt confident adding an extra service during my appointment. Knowing she is a licensed esthetician gave me full peace of mind in her recommendations. Love this place, and especially Kendall!! Her facials are amazing. She really listens to your concerns and analyzes your skin to make the right recommendations, and then does a wonderful job creating a relaxing environment. My skin always feels great and looks super glowy afterwards. Highly, highly recommend.

I've been a member for several years now and primarily come for massage, although every once in a while I do get a facial. I have been consistently asking for the same massage therapist (Tessa) for the past year or two as I she has provided the best massage based on my experience with other therapists there. Unfortunately, it has been harder to get an appointment with her as I can only come on weekends. A couple of weeks ago, I was there for a massage and had a new therapist. I believe her name was Aki. She was awesome - very systematic in her approach. I felt both stretched and relaxed at the same time (if that's even possible). She checked in several times to ask if the pressure was okay. I would definitely ask for her again - before she gets too popular. I definitely would recommend Hand and Stone. When you make an appointment, tell them what you are looking for and they will point you to the right therapist.
