Happy Feet Nails & Spa is a nail salon at 1708 SW 4th Ave in Portland, Oregon (97201). It offers a neighborhood option for nail care, including manicures, gel pedicures, and eyebrow waxing mentioned by customers. The salon is open Monday through Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and closed Sunday. Its 4.4-star rating across 142 reviews reflects a range of experiences, so prospective guests may find it helpful to consider both the positive feedback and the concerns shared by reviewers when deciding whether the salon suits their needs.

Customers who enjoy their visits describe friendly, professional staff and a clean, quiet setting. One reviewer praised a gel pedicure completed by Kim, saying the finished polish looked great and that they planned to return. Another customer said the team helped restore damaged natural nails and created a cute, whimsical manicure; they also appreciated the calm, relaxing atmosphere. These comments suggest Happy Feet Nails & Spa may appeal to people looking for a low-key appointment and personal nail services, whether they are stopping in for a pedicure or asking for help with natural nails.

Reviews also point to areas worth clarifying before a service. Some customers have reported concerns about polish lifting soon after an appointment, uneven nail shaping or lengths, and results that did not match the color they requested. These accounts do not describe every visit, but they make it sensible to discuss the desired shape, length, polish shade, and finish with the nail technician before work begins. If you have a particular reference image or a specific expectation for your manicure or pedicure, sharing it clearly at the start may help ensure you and the technician are on the same page.

Pricing and payment are another topic raised in customer feedback. One reviewer described a gel pedicure price of $55 as average, while another said a manicure quoted at $45 came to $78 and mentioned an unclear $3 service charge when paying cash. Because services and add-ons can affect the total, confirm the price and any additional fees before your appointment or before service begins. For people searching for a nail salon in downtown Portland, Happy Feet Nails & Spa is located on SW 4th Avenue and has customer-reported experiences ranging from relaxing, satisfying visits to concerns about consistency and cost. Checking service details in advance can help you decide if it is the right fit.

Friendly staff but pricing is not correctly quoted. $45 manicure turned up to $78 and not really clear on a $3 service charge when I paid in cash which was their preferred method of payment.b

Walked in for a gel pedicure at 4:30pm on a Monday. Kim did a lovely job and I plan to go back! The salon was clean and quiet, and my pedi looks great. Some other reviews metion great prices - I thought the price for the gel pedi was average ($55). Thank you!

I used to go here for my eyebrows wax, and this was the first time in a long time I booked an appointment with them for manicure and I have to say it was a BIG DISAPPOINTMENT. She didn’t know the right color (as pictured in the ss pic) and she filed my nails differently (all were in different lengths) and she took forever to paint the strips, and again can’t find the right color, and ended up charging me $75 still. I was not happy but still left with a smile because I had a lunch date with my bby sister…. Such a scam, respectfully. Not recommended if you’re looking for a great place for pedi or meni. Called to have it removed and refunded but they say they don’t refund and they charge $20 for removal. Such a big disappointment…. Hate to be that person to leave these kind of reviews but i am mad about this…. *i even tipped $5 out of kindness. Ugh

Very disappointed in the quality of work. I moved to the neighborhood a little over month ago and have tried this place twice. The first time my shellac polish lifted from my big toe on the second day... I figured that I must have bumped into something and damaged it. The second visit I had a manicure and pedicure both with shellac.(Over $100) After I left, I could see that I still had visible dry skin and cracking on my heels. The woman who did my pedicure kept telling me it wasn't bad compared to other customers but I wanted it taken care of, that's why I paid $$. By day three, half of my fingers had peeling polish on the back of the nails near my skin. It looks worse than if I had painted them myself with drugstore polish. I'm very disappointed and wish I could get a refund of the $100+ I spent there last week. I've booked an appointment at my old salon for tomorrow to re-do both my manicure and pedicure. I figured it isn't worth trying to get Happy Feet to fix it, since it will just peel off in a few days anyway...🙁 I Do Not Recommend!!

Lovely people, friendly and professional! Wasn’t sure my wrecked natural nails would be able to be saved but they worked their magic and I absolutely love them! So cute and whimsical ✨ very calm and relaxing vibe in there too.
