I had an absolutely wonderful experience at Healing Massage! The therapist was incredibly skilled and attentive, really targeting all my tight spots and tension. Unfortunately had a bad experience with the deep tissue massage. There was very little pressure, when I asked for more the masseuse did not seem to acknowledge my request. Wouldn’t really classify it as a massage, more like light grazing. Not terrible, but not the deep tissue massage that I was expecting.
I used to visit this place often 1.5 years ago. It used to be nice back then. Today, I had a really bad experience. I repeatedly told Maani, the therapist, to put more pressure for massage, which she kept ignoring and never responded back. She wouldn't use her hands much and was using mostly her elbows. She also didn't massage my face and told me that whatever she did initially for my head was face massage. She also forced me to leave a 20% tip for her, but i didn't leave a 20%, and I told her I wasn't happy to leave a 20% tip. Then she told me to NEVER COME BACK. For sure, I am not coming back. I just now read a few of the other recent reviews. I wouldn't have opted for this place if it wasn't based on my previous experiences.
This is truly a healing experience! I have been here several times and I consistently receive five Star Massage and experience! Today I compressed a 2-hour massage into 1 hour by requesting a forehand massage. Leah and Lisa are a great team. I walked in tense and sore and stiff, and after 1 hour I walked out standing up straight, no pain, and feeling great! The knots in my shoulders were gone, the stress in my neck and lower back were gone, and I felt light as a feather walking out. The pressure is just right, and I like how they check in with me when they do extra pressure to make sure it is not too much. This place is a great combination of professional and friendly, and I highly recommend you give them a try.
