Sign in to reviewThis place is the real deal if you want an authentic Dutch and German experience without getting trapped in TSA lines and airport chaos for 12 hours. The Leberkäse sandwich was excellent — real German bread, authentic flavor, and a perfect example of how simplicity becomes special when food isn’t overprocessed into artificial rubber. Just quality bread, quality meat, and people who know what they’re doing. The Dutch breakfast was legit too, and the Dutch Croquettes- Bitterballen brought me straight back to Holland. Crispy outside, soft inside, exactly how they’re supposed to be. Great little supermarket section as well with authentic imported products everywhere you look. The kind of place where you walk in for lunch and leave with enough European snacks to confuse your pantry for a week. Owners and staff were super friendly, welcoming, and genuinely passionate about what they do. A little slice of Europe hidden in Dallas.
Definitely different ambiance. We liked what we ordered but I think for a better European brunch experience, we need to order the bratwurst, polish sausage or schnitzel next time. Besides the dining area, they have a bakery and a little grocery area too. Totally worth visiting this place out.
Local gem for sure. Loved by many, tons of regulars, friendly employees and great service. Prices can’t be beat and I loved my grilled sausage + German potato salad. They have a bakery as well which is crazy busy. I was impressed with the foot traffic I witnessed while eating my lunch. Parking is tight so be prepared for that, but well worth it. Highly recommend!
We were happy to try their vanilla napoleon, but were disappointed. It should not be called a napoleon. It was made with whipped cream and artificial raspberry jam. There is no vanilla pastry cream. The layers of puff pastry were so soggy and chewy we could not cut through them with a fork. The icing on top tasted like grainy powdered sugar which ultimately made it an overly sweet mess. It did not seem freshly made. It also didn’t taste like vanilla at all.
Solid Black Forest cake, good pricing and quick availability. It tastes amazing, thick fluffy chocolate sponge cake on the bottom, good amount of cherries and not overly sweet. Will definitely come back in the future.
