Really solid meal. The fish was definitely the star of the show. Portions were decent too. the dumplings weren't as flavorful as I'd hoped. If you’re in the area and craving authentic Chinese, don't skip this one.
We ordered the red bean mooncakes to go, and they were great. Not too sweet. Will be back again hungry to order Bao and other pastries.
I was excited to try this bakery, but unfortunately it was disappointing. I ordered the melon cake and the flavor was not good at all. I also tried a custard-filled cake, but it was very dense and much heavier than I expected. The prices are affordable, but based on my experience, the pastries just didn’t meet my expectations. Hopefully I just visited on an off day.
I would have bought one of everything if I had more time in Boston lol this place is legit old school chinese bakery styles. My favourite was the egg tart! I will be back to try everything else 🙂 …
I recommend the black seed sesame moo cake and the portoguese tarts !
