Sign in to reviewWe recently dined at Hyderabadi Kitchen (Halal) and ordered the Hyderabadi Dum Biryani, Chicken 65, and Butter Chicken served with soft, fresh rotis. Every dish was truly delicious and packed with authentic Hyderabadi flavors. In our experience, this is the only restaurant that serves genuine Hyderabadi food in the Houston and Sugar Land area. The owner is exceptionally humble and attentive, he personally checked with our table to ensure the food quality was excellent, and it certainly was. The staff were friendly and made us feel welcome throughout the meal. After our main courses we enjoyed refreshing pan, and we noticed they also offer tasty samosas and the classic Double ka Meetha. Our entire group loved the food. If you are looking for real Hyderabadi taste in a warm, halal setting, Hyderabadi Kitchen is highly recommended.
The food very fresh and very tasty. Authentic hyderabadi food. I tried their Bagara khana dalcha and chicken 65 combo. It was really good. Portion size enough for 2 people.
I would say this place is one of the best places in Houston! It gave us that Hyderabadi kick! We felt as we came to Hyderabad to eat. We guys had chicken 65, talawa gosh, mutton biryani and kubani ka meetha and it was too good! Staff was so friendly and Service on point. I will suggest all Hyderabadis and even if not hyderabadi must try it!
Yesterday, I was craving biryani, so I stopped by this place since it was on the way. I had actually won a bet with my husband, which meant he owed me biryani—but somehow I still ended up paying for it anyway! While looking at the menu, I thought, “Why not try the Chicken 65 too?” I even called ahead and asked if it was deep-fried because I usually don’t like the heavily deep-fried version. I’m originally from Chicago, and for years I’ve been searching for Chicken 65 that tastes like the one from Nafisa’s Kitchen. If you’ve had it, you know exactly what I’m talking about. It’s hands down the best Chicken 65 I’ve ever had. Every time I visit Chicago, I bring back a half tray, and it disappears so fast because everyone loves it. Unfortunately, they don’t deliver to Houston anymore. For the last five years, I’ve been trying to find that same flavor here in Houston. I’ve tried countless restaurants and even attempted to recreate it myself, but nothing ever came close. Honestly, I wasn’t even planning on ordering the Chicken 65 here, but they had already started making it, so I took it home. The whole drive back I kept thinking, “What if it’s not good?” Then I took a bite. Oh. My. God. It instantly reminded me of the flavor I’ve been searching for all these years. That same delicious taste I’ve missed since leaving Chicago. I still don’t know what secret ingredient they use, but whatever it is, they got it right. If they start offering half trays of this Chicken 65, they’re going to have customers lining up. There are so many former Chicagoans in Houston looking for that authentic flavor. Needless to say, I’ll definitely be ordering a half tray next time. The Chicken 65 was THAT good!
The best Hyderabadi cuisine I’ve had in Houston. The Malai Paya was rich, flavorful, and perfectly prepared, while the Goat Nihari was tender and full of authentic taste. The Bagara Khana with Dalcha truly felt like classic home-style Hyderabadi food, bringing a very authentic experience. The Chicken 65 was crispy, juicy, and packed with flavor in every bite. What made the experience even better was the excellent customer service provided by Moin. He was welcoming, attentive, and ensured everything was perfect throughout the visit. Overall, every dish was outstanding, and the hospitality made the experience even more memorable. If you’re craving authentic Hyderabadi food in Houston, this place is definitely a must-try!
