About

Imperial Travel Services is listed on FindALoco in San Francisco, CA with address, phone, website, hours, and map location. Common services and related keywords include Travel Agency.

Imperial Travel Services is a travel agency in San Francisco, CA, located at 2649 Mission St, San Francisco, CA 94110. For travelers who value speaking with someone locally rather than handling every booking alone online, the agency offers an in-person option in the Mission Street area. Its published schedule is built around daytime planning: Monday through Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., plus Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.; it is closed Sunday.

Customer comments point to a focus on Latin American destinations. One long-time customer says Imperial Travel Services helped with flight booking and found a first-class upgrade that was not shown as an option on Google Flights. That account is one person's experience, rather than a promise of a particular fare or upgrade. Still, travelers comparing international flight choices may appreciate having a local agency review possible routes and options with them.

Favorable reviews repeatedly mention friendly staff and attentive customer service. Several customers specifically refer to Yvette, also spelled Evette in one review, while another names Peter Jr. Reviewers describe the team as nice and reliable, and some mention good or low prices alongside a range of options. The business holds a 4.3-star rating from 65 reviews, which provides helpful context while still leaving each traveler to confirm the details that matter for their own trip. Rather than presenting travel as a purely self-service transaction, these comments suggest a conversational, neighborhood-agency atmosphere. That may appeal to people who want time to ask questions, weigh alternatives, and receive a human perspective before deciding how to proceed.

Feedback is not uniform. One reviewer reported a serious concern about an international ticket and possible service fees. Because the sample reviews reflect individual experiences, it is sensible to ask direct questions before purchasing: whether any agency or service fee applies, what the itemized total includes, and which airline rules govern changes, cancellations, or refunds. Confirming these points in advance can help travelers compare options clearly and make a decision that fits their itinerary and budget.

Imperial Travel Services may be especially relevant for San Francisco travelers considering Latin American destinations or international flights and who prefer personal conversation to navigating every choice alone. It can also suit returning customers who appreciate a familiar local stop on Mission Street. The weekday schedule gives people planning around work a defined time to visit, while the shorter Saturday window may help those unavailable during the week. Bring preferred dates, destinations, and questions so you can determine whether this San Francisco travel agency is the right fit.

I love this place. Been a customer for years and never had a problem. They specialize in Latin American destinations. While i’m capable of booking travel on my own, Imperial has helped me get a first class upgrade that didn’t appear as an option on Google flights. I also used them to book flights within my destination country and every time it’s been hassle free. Thank you.

Beware! They will steal your money Cuidado! Aquí roban. I purchased an international ticket through this travel agency. Before the purchase, I asked if the agency charges for service fees. I was told that they don’t charge anything because they get paid by the airlines, especially if the ticket purchased is international. However, I noticed in my bank account separate charges from the agency, a big one, which was the actual price of the ticket, and small charges. I called back and asked what where the small charges about, and I was told it was “the flight taxe-charges that are paid separately.” I have traveled the world and have never before seen this happen… I called the airline directly, and they confirmed my suspicion. The agency made additional charges without my consent for their benefit. If I would have been told they were going to charge me to book the flight I would have done it myself. Yet, the bad part of this is that I was lied to in my face, which is an insult to my intelligence! These people are probably used to dealing with dumb uneducated Spanish speaking only customers, and they have gotten used to stealing from them, but they hit a wall with me. Also, my phone records all of my conversations, so, I can prove my allegations! Thus far, if I don’t get that money back I will happily sue this travel agency based on the overwhelmingly evidence on my favor, which plausible in its face. Freaking unethical thieves!
