We had our wedding cake prepared by Isgro’s and we were SOO impressed by the quality. I had asked them to include a figure of my dog on the cake, and gave them flowers to include on it as well. They did a phenomenal job! So many people complimented not only the decorations of the cake but the taste. It was so soft and flavorful.
The cake for my daughter’s bridal shower was not only beautiful - it was delicious! My guests all wanted to know where the cake came from! Ordering online was easy - and staff were super helpful with suggestions and assistance. Always prompt with their responses. Will always have an Isgro’s cake for our special occasions!
A moldy issue - I’ve been a loyal customer here for birthdays, which is why this was especially disappointing. When I ordered the birthday cake and we went to serve it, we noticed mold on the top of the strawberries. I did contact the shop and they refunded the order, which I appreciate. However, because the cake was for a birthday and could not be served at all, a replacement cake or additional compensation would have felt more appropriate than a refund alone. I hope this was just a one-off issue, but it definitely took away from what should have been a special moment, and it’s made me hesitant to return.
I drove from Atlantic City in World Cup Traffic & it was totally worth it! The bakery smells like a dream. I came for the rum cake and it’s so fresh and delicious. It looked beautiful. The gentleman at the counter was nice. The bakery was top tier. I found street parking in front of the store.
The pastries at this bakery are usually phenomenal. Today I found a hair when bitting into my cannoli. Very disappointing, I would hope they are wearing hair nets when preparing the filling for these treats. However, I know these type of occurrences is not rare with food industry and this is my first bad experience after years of coming to this establishment. But I hope the staff is aware and will take proper precautions moving forward.
