Very quaint bakery We were quite disappointed in their version of a napoleon which claiming to be a French bakery was very disappointing. Any true French bakery would not put the name “Napoleon” on a 2 small overdone pastry in the shape of a heart with small amount of cream in the middle. Nothing like the napoleon which my friend is and always has been a French classic. A three layered pastry fluffy with silky cream between each layer with a beautiful fondant icing which they called Mille - feuille. No it is not an Italian version it is French through and through. While as a French bakery you can make those cutesy heart pastry puffs please do not insult the french baker by calling it a napoleon. I unfortunately made the very foolish mistake of ordering this heart puff napoleon over the phone- thinking I would be getting , yes, you guessed it a napoleon.
Arguably the best French cafe I've been to in the US for a while. The hot chocolate is decadent but not too sweet unlike poor imitations of French hot chocolate. The chocolate croissant pretzel was flaky, light, and had a good amount of chocolate. Blueberry Danish also surprisingly had a complex flavor. The store itself was super cute.
Crêpes are the best! Like I’m in France again. And drip Coffee is nice too. Merci beaucoup J'aime.
The chocolate pretzel is overrated if you ask me. It’s not bad, it just looks better than it tastes. The hazelnut croissant however, is really good. The coffee is not bad, and the service is pretty good. It’s a cute little bakery with some …
No latte art. I was basically given a frothy cappuccino instead. I'll never understand why this is so common, even at well-rated places. The almond croissant has a pillowy interior with strong almond essence, but it doesn't taste freshly baked at 9:00 am on a Saturday given the way the laminate falls apart. I've had a lot of excellent croissants in my life and this place just falls short of expectations. Alas, I will try elsewhere.
