The drink menu is especially suited to guests who enjoy exploring different tea profiles. Customer feedback highlights the peach fruit tea, which comes with pickled peach slices, as well as milk tea prepared with a satisfying level of sweetness and chewy tapioca pearls. Reviews also mention boba paired with slushy drinks, a combination that can be especially refreshing on a warm Houston day. Tea preferences vary, of course: one guest noted that the oolong tea had a more herbal character than they preferred, while still finding the milk tea enjoyable. That kind of detail can help visitors choose a drink that matches their taste.

Beyond drinks, Jade's Teahouse offers more than a quick grab-and-go stop. Guests have praised items such as fries and an egg sandwich, making it a practical option when a beverage alone is not enough. The interior is described as cute and cozy, with a comfortable atmosphere that can work for a casual catch-up, a solo break, or study and work time. Some reviewers have mentioned that the music can be louder than ideal for focused work, so visitors planning a longer study session may want to keep that in mind.

Service is another part of the experience that stands out in customer comments. Visitors describe being greeted warmly, and one family appreciated how accommodating the staff was when a lavender boba tea did not suit their daughter's taste. At the same time, feedback suggests that availability and drink consistency may vary between visits, so it can be helpful to ask the team about current boba options or recommendations. For Houston residents and visitors near 5475 W Loop S, Jade's Teahouse is a friendly neighborhood bubble tea destination for fruit tea fans, milk tea regulars, and anyone looking for a cozy place to enjoy a drink and a snack.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Delicious seafood and excellent service! The fish and octopus here are absolutely delicious — perfectly cooked and full of flavor. I highly recommend asking for our waitress Flor Stephany. She is very attentive and knowledgeable and will gladly help you choose really tasty dishes that suit your taste. Great food, great service, and a very pleasant atmosphere. Highly recommended!

I used to really enjoy coming here, but my recent experiences have been disappointing and honestly uncomfortable. At first, my orders were always great—the boba was warm, chewy, and blended perfectly with my slushy drink. That’s what kept me coming back. But lately, every time I visit, they don’t have boba and instead give me tapioca without saying anything. There’s no heads-up, no explanation—just a different product than what I ordered. What really didn’t sit right with me was the inconsistency in how customers are treated. On one visit, I saw the staff clearly tell an Asian mother and daughter that they didn’t have boba and only had tapioca. But when it came to me—a Hispanic customer—he didn’t (young male)mentioned it at all. I was given something different without being told. That difference in communication made me feel uncomfortable and question whether I was being treated fairly. Today’s visit made things worse. I ordered my usual, and again, she (young female)didn’t say anything about the boba being unavailable. When I asked directly, I was completely ignored—no response, no acknowledgment. It felt dismissive and disrespectful, especially as a paying customer standing right at the counter. The tapioca on my drink were so hard you could hardly swallow them not to mentions receiving baby tapiocas since I didn’t tip this time and I usually do. I also came back in because I forgot my straw and saw the same staff member laughing and being friendly with coworkers. The contrast in how I was treated compared to others was hard to ignore. I’m not quick to assume the worst, but after multiple experiences like this, the lack of communication and the way I’ve been treated is concerning. At the very least, customers deserve honesty about what they’re being served and to be treated with the same level of respect. I hope management takes this seriously, because the drinks used to be great—but customer service matters just as much. Here’s a video of how unchewable the tapioca balls were.

Good fruit tea and boba spot. Peach fruit tea has pickled peach slices. Their Oolong tea has some herbal flavor, was not a fan. But Milktea was tasty Cozy interior - even good for study/work, if they would lower the music volume a bit.

As soon as we walked into this small, cozy restaurant, we were greeted with a warm smile and a friendly welcome. My daughter ordered a lavender boba tea but didn’t like the flavor. We asked if we could change it, and they were incredibly accommodating, allowing us to switch without any extra charge! That was so awesome!! I ordered the pork egg rolls, and they were absolutely delicious. The environment is nice and inviting. We’ll definitely be coming back!

i thought i left a review ever since last time but i guess i haven't. anyways.. I really liked this place! the inside is super cute and the staffs are friendly. Their milk tea is perfect, good amount of sweetness and chewy tapioca. the fries were so good as well as the egg sandwich. I actually got so full with the fries, i ate egg sandwich like 6 hours after i got home from work.. but the sandwich was still warm and it was so freaking delicious! the location kinda is in weird area but i would definitely come back here!
