Sign in to reviewIt has been awhile since the last time I visited this place. The place is clean with okey parking lot - weekend can be abit hassle. Service is good and the food still tasty and at reasonable price. They well known for their sponge cake and the banh bao. But came early so it still baking them. Glad that stopped by and tasted good old food too.
This is an update since I have been eating at this place for years. The dishes are very authenticly southern Chinese varieties. If you love Cantonese noodles, this IS the place. My mom introduced me to this place in the late 1990s...This is my go-to Cantanose favorite place- they also have a couple of Nam Vang dishes (Cambodia noodles?). Oh I forgot to mention anither fav dish is 'Tsao kweh'-- so good.
Probably one of the oldest noodles shop in Little Saigon! Always great and consistent!
I had the noodle soup and it was just NOT good. The pork in my soup was very under cooked. When I tell them the pork is raw, the owner told me it was supposed to be like that. I had to throw it away, I hate to waste money on food like this.
This place is not good as it use to be. I use to enjoy coming here especially on cold day for their rice porridge and chinese donut. Their porridge is bland and their portion is small now. I understand the price increase but don’t cut back on the food. I order chicken porridge got mostly porridge. There is a short lady maybe in her middle 50. She has the worst attitude when taking our order. I show her the picture of what I wanted from my phone and she does not know what it is and this picture is from her restaurant too. She just seem clueless about taking our order but it’s just her unfriendly attitude that got to me.
