About
Kaya Bakery is listed on FindALoco with website, hours, and map location. Common services and related keywords include Bakery.
Kaya Bakery is a weekend popup bakery whose offerings stand out for uncommon flavor combinations and carefully considered fillings. Customer feedback describes discovering the bakery at a weekend pop-up in front of Social Eatery, where its pastries immediately drew attention for options not often found at a typical bakery counter. For people looking beyond familiar sweet baked goods, Kaya Bakery offers an appealing, focused way to try croissants and other pastries with distinctive flavor ideas. The business listing does not currently provide a city, state, or street address, so checking its current pop-up details is especially useful before visiting.
Croissants are a clear highlight in the available reviews. One guest simply calls them delicious, while another points to the selection's unusual flavors and fillings. Reviewers mention nian gao and rose among the offerings that caught their attention, as well as a savory croissant called Kong. The Kong filling is described as bringing together 13 spices, crystal noodles, and Sichuan peppercorns. These details reflect a bakery experience that welcomes savory notes and layered spice alongside sweeter pastry choices, giving curious diners something more exploratory than a standard croissant stop.
Kaya Bakery's format is part of the experience. It operates as a pop-up rather than a fixed, daily storefront, with listed hours limited to Saturday and Sunday from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM; it is closed Monday through Friday. Customers should plan around that narrow weekend window and use its website waitlist to receive notification of where, what, and when it will be selling. That practical step matters because location and available items can vary for a pop-up bakery.
This is a particularly good match for pastry fans who enjoy unexpected fillings, diners seeking savory croissants, and weekend explorers who like finding independent food experiences. It may also suit anyone willing to plan ahead rather than rely on walk-in availability. With a 5-star rating based on two reviews, the current feedback is small but warmly positive, emphasizing both the quality of the croissants and the originality of the menu. The reviews offer useful firsthand signals while still leaving room for new visitors to discover the current selection for themselves.
To find Kaya Bakery, start by joining the waitlist mentioned in customer feedback and watch for its latest pop-up announcement. Since this bakery does not list a permanent address, city, or state in the available information, confirm the weekend location, selling schedule, and day's offerings before heading out. Arriving prepared helps visitors make the most of the short Saturday or Sunday service period. Whether the draw is a rose offering, nian gao, or the spice-forward Kong croissant, Kaya Bakery is best approached as a planned weekend stop for flavors that customers say are hard to find elsewhere.

Sign in to reviewCame across their pop up in front of Social Eatery on weekend. What caught my attention was their unusual flavors and fillings that I don't find elsewhere. They had nian gao, rose, and savory croissant was the one that caught my attention, Kong. It's 13 spices, crystal noodles, sichuan peppercorns, and chives. I bought three of them and safe to say I did not regret it. Nian gao was a little hard at the end, but it was my fault for waiting too long and did not heat them properly. They gave me heating instructions that are pretty useful.
Delicious croissants! It’s a popup bakery so you need to sign up for their waitlist on the website to be notified where/what/when they’ll be selling!
