Kessler Baking Studio Bishop Arts

First time here, since my bf wanted me to try their strawberry rice krispy. Unfortunately, they were out. :( Since we were there already, I figured we’d try something else, so we got the Strawberry Cookie. It was nice and soft, kinda doughy, which I like, but I could hardly taste the strawberry. We were told that they used freeze dried strawberries in it, but maybe they could’ve used more of a Strawberry compote to give it more flavor? Just a thought. Still pretty yummy cuz it’s the consistency that I like.

My wife and I were visiting family in Dallas and decided to stop by this location for dessert. The experience was nothing less than great. The employee who took our order was extremely nice, and the owner even emerged from the baking area to say hello. Beyond the fantastic customer service, the baked goods we purchased were outstanding. To be specific, the carrot cake was among the best I have ever had. Carrot cake is my only dessert, so when I desire it, I prefer the best-tasting, which I usually only purchase from Whole Foods. However, the carrot cake at Kessler exceeded the one from Whole Foods by a wide margin. The cake had the perfect amount of sugar, so it wasn't overly sweet. This is a great establishment that provides wonderful baked goods.

Wonderful experience! I bought a box for my coworkers and husband — everyone loved the cookies. My favorites were the Texas Ranger and the Toffee chip. Man, were these GOOD!!

Not only is the food delicious, but the vibe and customer service were phenomenal as well! We tried the Kessler-doodle, the peanut butter cookie, and the cinnamon rolls. My favorite were the cinnamon rolls! They were soft, packed with cream cheese frosting, and had a taffy-like chewy syrup at the bottom that tastes amazing if you have a big sweet tooth. Although I wish the peanut butter cookie was a bit softer, I really enjoyed the flavor and the inclusion of peanuts in the cookie. The snickerdoodle was softer than the peanut butter cookie and tasted good as well!

I’ve been driving from Grand Prairie near Joe Pool Lake for almost five years just to get delicious cookies and desserts from Kessler’s Baking Studio, and it’s worth every trip! Their treats are always fresh, flavorful, and made with care. The owner is always smiling, welcoming, and such a kind man, which makes the experience even better. You can really tell they value their customers and take pride in what they do. This is hands down my favorite bakery in DFW, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for amazing desserts and great service!
