Great pharmacy that always delivers everything on time.

If I could I'd give ZERO starts for the treatment I just had on the phone. After dealing with this pharmacy for around 2 years I would always recommend it to friends because I used to love the delivery system and how convenient it would be. But recently I was prescribed a new ADHD medication that is expensive and very hard to find due to always being a shortage of. This was putting a financial strain on me and my friends and therapist recommended me to use GoodRX. Unfortunately this pharmacy doesn't accept their coupons, so I had to go to big chains to get my medications filled. However my ADHD medication wasn't available anywhere else. I called 3 separate times there to know if the medication was available and how much it was ($55 dollars - told by me by 2 different people). After asking my clinic to send the prescription over, calling, confirming the price, setting for delivery AND ASKING FOR A CONFIRMATION CALL (that never happened)... I decided to call back.... Today at 1:00pm The guy that picked up the phone told me that they couldn't fill the medication because they don't fill JUST the ADHD medication, it has to have others with it. (Probably looking at my file and seeing I'm used to ordering 4 medications from there). When I explained what happened he said "It's protocol", but I reiterated that 2 separate people told me they could fill it, he's answer was just "They didn't know!". He goes off the line and apparently talks to someone, comes back and says he can do this just once, but now the medication is $70!!! (clearly up charging me) When I confronted him about it, he says that if it's only one medication is $70, I mentioned my THREE separate quotes for $55 dollars and he again used the epic phrase "They didn't know" to which I said "That's an internal problem, if your staff doesn't fully know your protocols there's a problem in your internal communication and that's nothing to do with me or with filling my prescription or charging me extra to do so." Then he proceeds to be super rude and say "Do you want for $70 or not?" (repeats it twice) He proceeds to be more rude and not care about anything I say. But basically I say that this is why Mom and Pop shops are getting eaten alive by the big chains. We are here trying to give them the business but instead they are up charging us, trying to make a fool out of us and being very rude about it. Unfortunately I couldn't find my prescription anywhere and I had to fill with them but needless to say, never again. So instead of them "losing" $15 (the extra they were trying to make) they lost the steady business they had with me for years to come plus all the recommendations I used to make. Shameful! EDIT (6:27PM) - We had agreed on $65 for the medication since I couldn't find anywhere else. They charged my card $70. Dishonesty at is finest!

The lady was EXTREMELY helpful and informative. Despite the hospital making a mistake and her kind of going off about them to her co-workers and a package that was canceled arriving to her. She not once took it out on us and was REALLY nice. Thank you!

I get a lot of scripts filled and they have been wonderful. I will definitely continue to keep Key Drug as my #1 choice for a pharmacy
