Tea was wayyyy too sweet. I've had lots of Taro milk teas at other locations and the taro taste was way actually there. The taro milk tea here tasted like they mixed milk, purple dish soap, and a bucket full of sugar together. I would avoid this place and get tea ANYWHERE else. The service was good though.
Card machine wasn’t working and they just let the line get long didn’t even say anything or let customers know it wasn’t working. poor communication and messing around gave the people in front a free drinks , wasn’t really fair when they knew it wasn’t working still gave them the drinks , only giving this rating for one time experience because I’ve been there plenty of times and it was great but it’s just the fact they seen the line get long and couldn’t communicate that it was cash only till you got up so it was really as waste of time if you didn’t have cash proper communication would’ve been appreciated.
Excellent service! The man wt the counter was so very sweet, and helped me out with finding the right flavors and the best drink for me! I highly suggest going if you’re ever at north star mall!
Ordered the mango passionfruit tea with aloe vera since it’s 110 degrees out right now and wanted something citrusy and refreshing while strolling the mall. The shop booth is found on the center of the upper floor of the food court. Drink came within a few minutes of ordering and cashier was polite. Unfortunately, I did not expect or like the overpowering bitter tannin taste. It tastes essentially like a really strong black tea concentrate (with no fruity flavor) so I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone caffeine-sensitive. I’m disappointed both the mango and the passionfruit syrup were completely missing because.. well that’s literally the drink name and it really would’ve helped contrast the unpleasant bitter aftertaste. Paid over $7 for a drink I can barely sip.. Won’t go back.
