Had a great experience at KOSA Salon. I got a loc retwist from Ray, and she did an amazing job. She was super detailed, took her time, and my locs came out looking really clean and fresh. You can tell she truly cares about her work and making sure everything looks right. The service was also top tier. I was offered water, everyone was welcoming, and they even stayed open a little later to finish my hair, which I really appreciated. That kind of care and professionalism goes a long way. If you’re looking for someone who really knows what they’re doing with locs, Kay at KOSA Salon is definitely the person to go to. I’ll absolutely be back. ✨

I came to Jonette just two months before my wedding after getting really ashy highlights that I don’t think looked good on me. The task of changing my hair just two months before my wedding is super stressful, and she handled it with so much care and thoughtfulness. She thought super deeply about what to do to make me feel my most beautiful, and she asked so many helpful questions. When I came back for my appointment (the first one was just a consultation), Jonette remembered everything I told her and had clearly ruminated on what to do in the time we didn’t see each other. She selflessly prioritized making sure I went with the least expensive, most efficient path to fix my hair before the wedding, which meant so much to me. After she was done, I felt like a new person. I felt reconnected with my younger self and the way I looked before I touched my hair. It turned out perfectly—it’s the exact hair I want to have on my wedding day. Aside from being such a talented hair stylist, Jonette is also incredibly kind, interesting, funny, and wise. I’m so, so grateful I found her.

I have tried nearly 8 different spots to get my hair done in SF and Kosa Salon is truly the best! I have been to Jonette a few times now and she does an incredible job with haircuts as well as highlights! The salon itself is clean, bright and comfortable with far more reasonable pricing than anywhere else I've been so far in the city - I highly recommend!
