Kroger Pharmacy

The pharmacist here is extremely helpful, very knowledgeable, always had a big smile on her face, and treats you like an old friend. I prefer HEB over Kroger for groceries, but I'm definitely keeping this as my pharmacy.

I personally like the pharmacy staff they're just doing their job. There are laws and rules they have to follow.

They never call me when there is a problem with a refill. I come days later to pick up RX and then find out they don't have any stock. No calls, no information. They also filled an RX I was allergic to because the tech just filled in one allergy instead of two. Rude to boot. Switching pharmacies.

Rude staff, takes several days to get common prescriptions filled. My doctor's office accidentally sent my prescription to this location for refill (instead of the location I usually use) and this encounter reminded me why I don't like using this pharmacy.

I have been trading here for over 10 years, but this year they started filling prescriptions 15 pills at a time. I asked why and they said to get my prescriptions so I could pick them up all together. I told them it wouldn't work; I had too many. So three different times they said they would take me off that program. I continued to get partial refills which I began to wonder if they were trying to make more money. Small quantities cost more. My insurance drug company is CVS Caremark so I decided to go there. Another reason was drive-thru pick up and a 24 hour pharmacy., Kroger's hours continue to be less and less and on Sunday they close at 5 PM. BUT TODAY: I am so glad I have changed my prescriptions!! I walked up to get a prescription sent to the wrong pharmacy, and stood at the outside window, sun beating down, for 15 - 20 minutes. A middle aged dark haired man stood across the pharmacy and never even acknowledged that someone was ringing the bell. Back to me. Finally an elderly pharmacist passed by and said we'll be here when we can. The younger man walked toward me like he was going to wait on me and stopped at the checkout inside the store. I had to ring the bell 5 times in the 15 - 20 minutes and the elderly gentleman finally waited on me. It was so hot and I am 77 years old and know I could have been waited on in a timely manner. I am so glad I have chosen to change pharmacies!! Never treated this rudely.
