Kung Fu Tea is a bubble tea store at 2000 Hamilton St Unit 107 in Philadelphia, PA, offering a convenient place to pick up a tea, a boba drink, or a light bite. Customer favorites mentioned in reviews include taro milk tea and the shop’s original milk tea, with boba texture that one customer especially enjoyed. The menu also features a range of drink choices and limited-time items, so it may suit guests who like familiar staples as well as trying something seasonal. The location is rated 4.2 out of 5 based on 50 reviews, giving visitors a helpful snapshot of other customers’ experiences.
For a creamy, comforting choice, reviewers often point to the taro milk tea, while the original milk tea is another drink customers say they return to. The menu has also included options such as Mango Creamsicle and seasonal specials, including pumpkin-themed drinks and a Hershey collaboration noted by a customer. Offerings can change, so it is worth checking the current menu for availability and for details about toppings. One reviewer said a Mango Creamsicle arrived without the syrup swirl and mango jelly they expected, and learned that the topping needed to be ordered separately. Confirming customizations when ordering can help make expectations clear.
Kung Fu Tea also has food beyond drinks: a reviewer praised the shrimp tempura onigiri, noting that it was made fresh. That makes the shop an option for someone looking to pair bubble tea with a small savory bite, rather than stopping for a drink alone. Reviews describe the space as large and clean, and one customer appreciated the kind, friendly staff. Other guests mention that service can be a little slow, so allow extra time if you are visiting during a busy period or have a tight schedule. Experiences may vary, but these details offer a balanced sense of what customers have reported.
The Philadelphia shop is open daily, Monday through Sunday, from 11:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., according to its listed hours. Its Hamilton Street address places it in the city for customers seeking bubble tea nearby, including people who want a familiar milk tea, textured boba, or a seasonal drink to explore. Whether you are stopping in for taro milk tea, choosing an original milk tea, or adding shrimp tempura onigiri, Kung Fu Tea offers several ways to make a casual refreshment break your own. Check the menu for current drink choices and topping options, especially when ordering a featured or limited-time item.

Ordered three drinks and 2 of them were poorly made. One was Mango Creamsicle, which is supposed to have a mango syrup swirled in and mango jelly topping; instead it was just a slush with no syrup or topping. When I showed them the photo in the app, they said you'd have to order the topping separately--even though I told them I've ordered this at other locations and topping was included, as expected since the listing photo shows them. They didn't offer to remake the drink, so I asked if I could pay to add topping, and they literally rang me up for 75 cents to add topping to the drink (which probably will cost them more than they gained since it was a credit card charge). My yogurt peachade looked like there was no yakult in it at all because the drink was translucent, and there was only *maybe* a tablespoon of peach chunks at bottom--like it wasn't even a full layer covering the bottom. Overall super disappointed. Kung fu is my favorite chain so I've been to tons of them, and this one is definitely in the bottom tier due to being disrespectfully stingy with the ingredients.
Nice taro milk tea! The milk tea is also good. I like the texture of the boba. I also ordered shrimp tempura Onigiri. They made it fresh! I love it. The staff are also kind and friendly.
Service was a tad slow and we've had better boba tea elsewhere, but options were varied, the location was large and clean, and the shrimp tempura onigiri surprisingly tasty.
Pumpkin season is here 🎃 It’s cool that this location has so many limited items going on, like the Hershey collab and PSL. I always like their original milk tea as well, only one thing I have to complain is that the menu had way too many items? Just kidding, it is a great bubble place and there are few seats if you want to chill. I would get their PSL over Starbucks any day(you can add boba). Is there missing an i on the sign or is it just me?
Overall I love Kung Fu Tea’s bubble teas, especially the taro milk tea. I frequently went to the Chinatown location and I’m so happy a location is much closer to my home. Service was a little slower as I went the first week they opened, but …
