I am reluctant to leave this review because I want to keep this place a secret as long as possible. It is, without a doubt, the most delicious food I have eaten since moving to Dallas. Espresso-Soaked French Toast is light as air and the Birria Brisket Croque Madame is the second best thing I’ve ever put in my mouth.

Have been to several places for latte and some pastries, but never left any review cuz I’m from Uzb and it’s not smth usual to leave a review. Honestly, I’ve have the best plain latte here with honey and butter croissant in huge size which made me full. Talking abt coffee, foam was really smooth like a cloud on top of my coffee, pity I didnt tell abt making less sweet earlier, but really enjoyed from it. Plus, love the books and baby changing availability

An absolute gem in Richardson — we'll definitely be back! La Casita Bakeshop completely exceeded our expectations. From the moment we walked in, the vibe was warm and welcoming, and our server Diana made the whole experience. She was knowledgeable, genuinely enthusiastic about the menu, and so pleasant to talk to — exactly the kind of hospitality that turns a good meal into a great one. The food itself was outstanding. We ordered the French Toast and the Birria Brisket Croque Madame, and both were incredible — beautifully presented and packed with flavor. The Croque Madame especially blew us away; it's the kind of dish you think about after you leave. The side hash rounded it all out perfectly. And then there are the pastries. We grabbed the Mango Sticky Rice Cream Puff and the Amaretto Cherry Basque Cheesecake Brownie from the Weekend Selections — both were stunning, not just visually but in flavor. The cheesecake brownie topped with those cherry meringues looked almost too good to eat. Almost. Washed everything down with the Salted Honey Matcha and it was the perfect companion to the whole spread. Honestly, the hardest part was choosing — the menu is so creative and well thought-out that we already have a list of things we want to try next time. And there will be a next time. La Casita has earned a regular customer. Highly, highly recommend.

I have been to this place about 5 times now over its time of development, I think my first time was in fall 2024. It’s such a Gem and honestly I’ve had nothing but a positive experience every time. I love that they do things in house :) even their syrups. I have a list of top favorites and it depends on what is in season ( I love the switching up for seasonal pastries). They do have core classics that also so good. I’m almost done trying all of there classics. On my bucket list next time is to try the dine in food :) Some of my favorites (not limited to these) Ham and cheese quiche Ham and cheese croissant Banana muffin Earl gray loaf Croissant Monkey bread Horchata cold brew Salted honey matcha :) Turkish latte Some seasonal favorites Pesto croissant Lemon ricotta cake Curry Crosata Blueberry Basil Green tea puff Vietnamese brownie Pumpkin loaf Ughhh love love love :)

Love getting the surprise boxes here, they are absolutely delicious. There is a large variety of unique baked goods. My personal favorite is the simple yet amazing croissants. There is never a huge wait and service is nice. We live locally and plan to continue to support this location for years to come!
