La More Bakery is a local Bakery in Fremont, CA, serving customers near Warm Springs at 46292 Warm Springs Blvd Unit 622. With a 4.4-star rating from 61 reviews, it has become a practical stop for people looking for Asian-style cakes that feel light, balanced, and celebration-ready rather than overly sweet. The bakery is open Wednesday through Sunday from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM and closed Monday and Tuesday, so it works well for planned pickups before weekends, birthdays, family gatherings, and office occasions.

Customers often talk about the cakes first, especially custom photo cakes, taro cakes, vanilla-base cakes, and fresh cream cakes with fruit or pudding layers. Reviews describe the cake texture as moist and flavorful, with sweetness kept in check and cream that tastes fresh. One guest noted that a requested photo design came out very close to the reference image, while another praised an 8-inch taro vanilla cake with real taro pieces and pudding inside. For shoppers in Fremont who prefer a gentler Asian dessert style, not too heavy and not too sugary, La More Bakery is a strong match.

The bakery is also a choice for more formal celebrations. Customers have ordered wedding cakes here, including taro with vanilla and mixed-fruit with coffee flavors, and described them as lovely, tasty, light, and fresh. That makes La More Bakery useful for couples, parents, grandparents, and hosts who want a cake that looks polished without becoming too rich. Because custom work can be more expensive than a basic grocery-store cake, it is best suited for customers who value a specific design, Asian-inspired flavors, and a softer cream-forward profile.

Beyond whole cakes, visitors mention cake slices, pastries, and mango pudding, though the selection may feel more cake-focused than broad. Mango pudding has been called a good small treat, and taro remains one of the flavors that brings repeat attention. As with many bakeries that prepare items ahead for quality and structure, some items may be served chilled or frozen; if timing matters, it is wise to ask whether slices or pastries need time to thaw before serving. That small question can help make the experience smoother.

Located in the Warm Springs area of Fremont, La More Bakery fits customers who are planning ahead rather than browsing late at night: families picking up a birthday cake, friends bringing dessert to a party, coworkers ordering a photo cake, or anyone searching for a Fremont bakery with taro, fruit, coffee, and light cream flavors. Its appeal is specific and easy to understand: carefully decorated cakes, familiar Asian bakery flavors, and desserts that aim for balance. For local dessert searches in Fremont, CA, this bakery is especially relevant when the goal is a custom cake that tastes as thoughtful as it looks.

Ordered a classic 8” inches Taro flavor, vanilla base cake for grandpa and he loves it! The cake is not too sweet and delicious; the cream is really fresh and tasty. The pudding is not only one of the toppings but also one layer inside the cake! You can also find really taro piece in the taro layer. Just order via their facebook page one day before and enjoy the awesome cake!

I ordered a custom photo cake from this bakery and was really impressed. The cake itself was super flavorful, moist, and not overly sweet. It tasted just as good as it looked. The design I requested came out very accurate, almost exactly like the picture I gave them. It was a little on the expensive side, but the quality and attention to detail made it worth every penny. I’d definitely order from here again.

We were very excited to have the cake slices/ pastries from La more bakery today. We got them home and found they were frozen! Not a good experience since there was no communication from the bakery that it's frozen and might take some time to eat. Not even sure if they are fresh..since it's frozen

I think this is a Taiwanese bakery. The first time I ate the cake was four years ago at a friend’s party. The taro flavored cake was delicious. But when I got to their store, I found that there were not many options besides cakes. After trying a few, I thought the mango pudding at $3.75 was very good. I bought 8 pieces, and they charged me $2 if I needed to put them in a box. The taro dorayaki is pretty good, 4 pieces for $11, but which is actually a bit expensive. Cash only .

Ordered my wedding cake from La More and it turned out to be so lovely and tasty. Picked taro/vanilla and mixed fruits/coffee flavor, and they both taste so good! Recommend to anyone who likes light and fresh Asian style desert
