Cakes are a standout choice at La Petite Bakery. Reviewers mention excellent cakes and reasonable prices, including a custom strawberry shortcake made for a birthday that one customer remembered as especially delicious. Another visitor praised the cakes for being well made and not too sweet, a quality that can appeal to people who prefer balanced flavors over very sugary desserts. Tiramisu is also mentioned positively, and one customer enjoyed pairing it with a coconut boba drink. These customer favorites offer a helpful starting point, though availability and selection may vary. If you have a particular cake in mind, contacting the bakery ahead of time is a sensible way to ask about options and ordering details.
The atmosphere is described by one reviewer as cute and the service as excellent, with quick service and food and drinks that met expectations. Other customers also report positive interactions and say they have returned for cakes. Experiences are not uniformly positive: some reviews describe disappointment, including concerns around an online pickup order. That range of feedback is worth keeping in mind, especially when planning a cake for an important date. Confirming pickup timing and order details directly can help set clear expectations. The reviews point to a bakery with much-appreciated cakes and customer care, alongside occasional service concerns that prospective visitors may want to consider.

Excellent Cakes. They made me a custom strawberry shortcake cake for my partners birthday, and it was one of the best things we have ever eaten. The prices are very reasonable as well.
Great customer service on every visit. Excellent cakes that are well made, taste great and are not too sweet. Had a coconut boba combo on a recent visit- drink was good and so was the tiramisu. In regards to to another review on here, have purchased multiple cakes here (most recently a week ago) and have never had a problem with the cake falling apart as described.
I unfortunately did not have a good experience with La petite 2 weeks ago, On 8/7/25 I placed an order via their clover online pick up for a cake to be ready at 4:15pm for the date of 8/8/25. I work in Aurora so the commute to Lakewood took a bit of time due to traffic to arrive to the bakery. I arrived around 6:00 pm to pick up the cake, the person who attended me was very kind and mentioned that she did not have the cake ready. I had to wait an additional time for it to be ready, given that maybe their online system didn’t push my order through I was understanding of this. Once my cake was finished it came out beautiful, now given that this as a rushed cake order, the cake unfortunately fell apart on the drive home. Now I can say this may be me rushing to get home but honestly given that the cake did not have time to rest before it was done I feel like this could’ve been prevented. I write this review because I never got my refund as I requested I paid for $60 and for a cake to not be ready on time and for it to fall apart just doesn’t seem like good customer service. I had called and spoken to the person who helped me and mentioned she would have her manager contact me. Well it’s been 2 weeks and I haven’t heard anyone trying to reach out. I’m really disappointed I wanted to love this place as I’ve purchased here before but unfortunately I will not be giving my support due to the lack of communication of this business, here are the photos for references. If ordering online I would definitely advise to make sure that they’re working on your order and not have this happen to someone who has a big event to attend.
I’m usually very supportive of small local businesses, so I really wanted to like this place, but the experience was disappointing. …
A very cute little bakery with reasonable prices and excellent customer service was served quickly and was not disappointed with the quality of the food or drink definitely would come again
