The food was prepared fresh, my sandwich bread was moist and warm. They should consider not putting the desserts in a cooler because it severely dries them out. My chocolate cake that I traded from the coconut ( severly dry) was good, but dry also. I'm taking it eith me to let it unthaw!
Awesome Cuban bread. Pastries were all delicious too. Separate coffee bar so you don’t have to stand in the food line and vice versa. Both lines went really fast. Check out all of the pastries in my video.
I’ve been coming here for years and I get the breakfast platter often. We picked up family from the Tampa airport and brought them here for breakfast. I always ask first crisp bacon and get it, this time was not the case. I was told by a so called manager which I found out was a lie, that they don’t make crispy bacon. I asked if they could just nuke it, I got a no. Then I asked for fruit instead and the so called manager brought me sausage patties instead and I told her I don’t eat sausage and I would like fruit instead which she then proceeded to tell me that the fruit would be an additional $10.00 charge. Yeah right, a lie. She then took the sausage patties and throw them aggressively in the garbage can and said fine and walked away. She was completely unprofessional, rude and was an embarrassment. She is a cook not a manager as I found a real manager and told her what happened and she refunded me my breakfast platter. If I can’t get crispy bacon I won’t be back. I could never act this way at work or I’d be fired immediately. Here is a picture of what perfect bacon looks like by the way. Made perfectly at home by me. I don’t think it was too much to ask to throw my bacon in the microwave and cook it for another minute, but people don’t care about delivering good customer service here it seems.
Grew up in Florida moved away 30 yrs ago. Had lunch here on Monday before I had business in Orlando it was so good I came back before I flew on Friday. The Cuban sandwich is amazing. You got to try it
La Segunda one of the most friendly customer service restaurants in Tampa. You fill like a family member when entering their restaurant. You are treated like family and appreciated. Fast friendly service and great food. La Segunda is the BEST of the BEST. Nothing else even comes close. Thank you La Segunda for making it a great day for me and my family.
