Delicious laksa noodle soup @ St Roch Market! Love the combination of toppings and rich broth. Also reasonably priced considering being located at a touristy spot.

Incredible depth of flavor. The signature laksa dish had such intense seafood flavor infused into the broth, yet paired super nicely with the chicken protein!!!

Chef Lin and Alex are amazing people who create amazing food. Two of the nicest people I've ever met. I can't say if it's authentic Burmese food or not since I've never had this type of Cuisine anywhere else, but it is absolutely delicious. The shrimp chili paste with tamarind is some of the best stuff I've ever had. The little banana desserts she brings out are phenomenal. Don't sleep on those snack hacks either. Beef balachaung and shrimp balachuang are my favorites and I buy them weekly. I'm not a huge fan of the actual Market since they do some shady business, but that has nothing to do with this restaurant and the people who work there. Alex is a former Marine who spent 12 years serving his country. Absolutely love this place and highly recommended. I haven't had a single thing on the menu that wasn't delicious.

Delicious!! The laksa bowl was one of my favorite soups I've ever gotten from a restaurant. When they say the broth is complex, they are correct. I love it. Try it with the tamarind sauce on the side and for dip. Don't forget to add the lime. The Burmese tofu was also excellent, surprisingly creamy with a crisp exterior! I also enjoyed the milk tea.

I absolutely love this place. Every time i eat here, i think, “i need to come here way more often.” The last two times, i ordered the shu shall (chicken salad). It’s a meaty salad in a complex dressing that’s acidic, light, and delicious. One of the owners also recommended the biryani, to which i added beef. It was the most flavorful and moist biryani I’ve ever had — and the portion of beef was very generous. I loved the tea leaf salad, which had a unique “earthy” flavor. I’ve also had the coconut soup, which was very filling by itself. This is a gem at St Roch Market, which i love. I need to visit the neighborhood more for Laksa NOLA.
