Moldy/rotten food, laughable portions, long wait times, and a manager that couldn't care less - This is not the place to spend your time and money. The first thing I noticed walking in was how incredibly dusty everything is. I've seen the hanging wicker at other small chains, but here it's obvious they were hung and never touched again. This should have been a sign to leave then and there. My partner had been so excited to show me this place as she loved the local-shop vibes. Unfortunately our enjoyment was short lived. After waiting for an unreasonably long time for two sandwiches, we immediately noticed that the fruit cup was so old it was not only mold-covered but also slimy from age. I regret not taking a picture, but my first reaction was to go to the front and ask for a manager. "Why???" was the response, and after convincing the cashier that I needed a manager, the manager comes out, takes one look, grabs the cup and disappears. No apology, no offer to make things right. Just a mumbled "oh okay" after I show her the cup, before heading back into the kitchen. More wait and finally another young woman appears - another server, NOT the manager, not with a "let me take that meal off your receipt" but instead with another, "fresher" fruit cup. There's no expiration date, no sharpie on the cup of when it was prepared - if you've ever worked food service you can easily see how stock isn't rotated and food can not only grow mold, but rot here. We declined the new fruit cup. Looking at our meals, neither of us were hungry to eat our sandwiches, which was a good thing because the proportions were laughable. I did take a picture of the chicken salad sandwich because you have to see it to believe it. I've seen gas station grab-and-go sandwiches with more filing than this. Which, btw for a chain that calls itself a bakery, the bread was soggy and stale. If this chain wants to survive then major changes need to happen at this location. Until then don't be fooled by the "local ma and pa spot" charm. This is a hazard to your health.

Had dropped by today for lunch, had an amazing Strawberry Lemonade with Hibiscus Tea very refreshing considering it was a hot day today. Also had this amazing buffalo grilled cheese sandwich, very rich in flavor, and to top it all off had this delicious blueberry scone very buttery and not to sweet. Will definitely come back here again!

I have never left a Google review, but this experience was disappointing enough that I think others should be aware. I ordered a coconut cake with lemon filling for my father's retirement party after more than 50 years of work. This was an important family celebration, and we put a lot of effort into making it special for him. When I picked up the cake, it took them over 10 minutes to bring the cake out - and I guess now I understand why. When we brought out the cake at the party, we immediately noticed that every lemon slice on top was packed with seeds, many of which had fallen into the frosting. We spent a considerable amount of time carefully removing them so they wouldn't end up in anyone's food and smoothing out icing. We also realized that "retirement" had been spelled wrong. The bigger problem came when we cut into the cake and discovered it wasn't a coconut cake at all—it was a chocolate cake with lemon filling. The flavor combination was unpleasant, the texture wasn't very good, and it completely missed what had been ordered for the event. When I called the bakery, they confirmed that my order should have been a coconut cake with lemon filling and acknowledged that the cake had been made incorrectly. I was told the baker had confused it with another nearby cake, although I found that explanation difficult to understand since the cake I received was chocolate with lemon filling. What frustrated me most was the lack of urgency afterward. I was told I had to wait until the manager returned two days later to discuss a refund. After missing the manager's callback, I called back the next day and was told to wait on hold for 5 minutes, and then told to call them back later because the manager was busy. No one explained why the process required additional delays or what information was needed. When I asked this person why I had to continue to essentially chase after my refund, they responded frustrated with me "you will receive your refund to your card in 30 minutes, she is busy right now." The communication felt dismissive, especially given that the bakery had ruined an important part of a once-in-a-lifetime family celebration. To their credit, I did ultimately receive a full refund. However, the combination of poor quality control, receiving the wrong cake entirely, and the frustrating customer service experience left me very disappointed. The manager was polite, but by no means would I describe them as profusely apologetic. The treatment to the conversation was with a bubbly tone, as if nothing unpleasant had happened to me at all. I understand that mistakes happen. What matters is how a business responds when they do, and unfortunately that response just simply did not meet my expectations. I would not ever recommend this location to anyone I know for a cake for an event.

I ordered a 60th birthday cake for my mother-in-law from Latham Bakery and had a really great experience. Their customer service stood out—they took the time to explain everything clearly and even asked for reference pictures to understand exactly what I wanted. I ordered a red velvet cake with cream cheese frosting, topped with strawberries and decorative frosting, and it turned out beautiful and tasted amazing. They were very accommodating with customizations and paid great attention to detail, which I really appreciated. One small tip for future customers—make sure to discuss presentation details like having the best-looking side of toppings (like strawberries) facing the front of the cake. Also, don’t forget to ask about cake accessories like a stand, candles, and a knife—they can guide you on that too. Another helpful tip—before placing your order, take some time to go through their website and decide on all the details like cake shape (square or round), flavor, frosting, decorations, size, and how many guests you need it to serve. It really helps make the whole process smoother. Overall, a smooth and satisfying experience. Highly recommend them for special occasions!

The food was good and the pina colada refresher was delicious, but the staff was less than welcoming. I’m not one to normally write reviews like this either. My husband and I stopped in to get a quick bite before a massage appointment and we were not even greeted. Two girls were helping two women in front of us. Neither one hopped on another register to take our order or acknowledged that we were standing there. Finally after 5 or so minutes another sweet girl appeared from the kitchen and took our order. My complaint is mainly with one girl. She was wearing a strawberry crochet bandanna thing on her head so feel free to tell her what I thought about her being rude to my husband. He went to go get his food from the window and she stood right in the way of him. As he asked about my food, she turned away and I guess didn’t hear him. He then walked towards her and asked if she knew where he could pick up my food (it was a bakery item) and she said “I don’t know go ask one of them” and pointed towards the corner (she had an annoyed tone). It irritated me because she then was all giggly and bubbly to two customers that came in minutes later. We are kind, patient people and thought her behavior was uncalled for.
