Needed to get some pastries from the office, so I stopped by the first bakery on the road- OMG this is a hidden gem! Everything looked amazing and freshly baked. Got a variety of cookies/pasteries. The price was amazing as well as the staff- super friendly! They have cakes and so many other items I didn't get a chance to taste due to time but adding this to my list to visit again.

It's the greatest pan dulce around. It has the ideal consistency and tastes fresh. Try the cuernitos and conchas, if I had to choose just two! I returned today to sample their cuisine, and it was excellent. Excellent flavor, generous serving size, and reasonable cost. The personnel is amiable and does a fantastic job adhering to the Covid-19 social distancing regulations.

The barbacoa and menudo are the best I’ve had. The aqua Fresca was delicious. I got the watermelon. The customer service is amazing.

Concha heaven and legitimate Mexican cooking lures me into this hidden gem on the border of Garland and Richardson. A small, warm interior is obvious, but the amount of choices makes you forget about the perspiration. On the left, you grab your conchas, donuts, etc. Surprisingly, their baguettes are on par with any Vietnamese bakery in the area. A quaint, basic seating area is in the back, but it is way too warm in there for me to eat without sweating all over my conchas. The chicharrones are homemade and worth taking a small bag home for snacky time. As for my favorite item, the barbacoa was too affordable and I wish I bought more. Next time, I will bring a bag of Central Market tortillas and cave man a quarter pound of tacos down my throat.

Stopped by to get some pastries, we definitely will be back. Very affordable, and they offer a lot of variety. The chocoflan was super smooth and not too sweet. The woman working the front was kind as well. :)
