Le Petit Bakery is a neighborhood bakery in Hawaiian Gardens, CA, located at 22100 Norwalk Blvd. Known for its fresh bolillo rolls and traditional sweet bread, this small shop has earned a loyal following among locals who appreciate honest, affordable baked goods. With a solid rating of 4.2 stars from customer reviews, Le Petit Bakery continues to serve the community seven days a week, starting bright and early at 7 a.m.

The standout here is undoubtedly the bolillo rolls. Customers rave about their aroma and flavor, with many noting they taste significantly better than what you would find at a typical supermarket chain. At just three for a dollar, these crusty, golden rolls offer real value. Le Petit Bakery also carries a selection of traditional sweet breads, including conchas and empanadas de piña, priced at two for a dollar. While the selection may be smaller than some larger panaderías, what they do offer is made with care and consistently praised for its taste. It is worth noting that the bakery has rotated some items over time, so favorites may vary from visit to visit.

One important detail to keep in mind: Le Petit Bakery is a cash-only establishment. This is something several customers mention, so be sure to bring bills and coins when you stop by. The shop does not allow self-service, so staff will assist you with your selections at the counter. While some reviewers have noted this as a minor inconvenience, others appreciate the personal touch it brings to the overall experience.

Operating hours are generous, making it easy to fit a visit into almost any schedule. Monday through Friday, the bakery opens at 7 a.m. and stays open until 9:30 p.m. On Saturdays, doors close at 8 p.m., and Sundays wrap up a bit earlier at 7 p.m. Whether you are grabbing a quick breakfast on the way to work or picking up bread for dinner, the extended hours provide flexibility for busy families and early risers alike.

What truly sets Le Petit Bakery in Hawaiian Gardens apart is the warmth of its owners. Multiple reviewers describe the staff as very friendly, creating a welcoming atmosphere that keeps people coming back. Fair pricing, reliable quality, and that neighborly feel make this bakery a solid choice for anyone in the area looking for fresh bread and sweet treats without breaking the bank. If you find yourself near Norwalk Blvd and crave a simple, satisfying bolillo or a piece of traditional sweet bread, Le Petit Bakery is well worth a stop.

5 stars for their bolillo rolls! They smell so good... much better than the ones from Ralphs which I'm so used to buying. 3 bolillos for $1, cash only!

Cash only small Mexican sweet bread bakery. Their selection is limited but tasty. I come here mostly for the birote (bolillos) and typical conchas, empanadas de piña. They use to make birote with rajas and cream cheese but no more...

Bolillo's are better than Ralph's but that's not saying much. Pan Dulce can be a little dry. The Puerquitos aren't good. Anyone aware of a good Mexican Bakery near by?
