I came into this store today to purchase new Meta displays glasses, and unfortunately had one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had. I was assisted by a gentleman named Steven, who was unfriendly, barely smiled, and showed no interest in helping me. Because my eyesight isn’t perfect, I kindly asked if he could simply turn on the display in the glasses so I could make sure I could see it clearly before making my purchase. It would have taken five seconds. Instead, he gave me a very stern “No” with no explanation and poor body language. He said he had someone waiting for a demo, but I wasn’t asking for a full demo, just a quick check to see if my vision worked with the product. I asked again, clarifying that I didn’t need a demo, and again got a harsh refusal with an unfriendly expression. It was disappointing and uncomfortable. Customer service should be helpful and welcoming, this was neither. I honestly wish I had gone to the Colma LensCrafters, where the team has always been far friendlier and more professional. Steven should probably not be in a customer-facing role if this is how he treats paying customers. To make things worse, the store locks its doors while customers are inside. I understand wanting to prevent theft, but this feels unsafe and could even violate fire safety codes. If I could give zero stars, I would. I cannot recommend this location to anyone looking for a positive shopping experience.

I live in SF and since Ray-Ban stores aren't as accessible here anymore, I was told to try LensCrafters since they are both under the Luxottica umbrella. I am so glad I did! Eduardo was absolutely awesome. He was incredibly friendly, kind, and helped me swap out my lenses until they looked good as new. Because of this experience, I’m a LensCrafters fan for life and will be coming back here for all my future sunglasses and optical needs.

What a nice experience this was, had done an appointment for my eye exam. Right from the time I walked in till the time I left, was taken care of so well, during the eye exam everything was explained to me and what I would need to do to take care of my eyes. Would highly recommend this place. And they have a great selection of glasses to choose from as well.

I had a great experience today getting an eye exam. The price was also the best i found around san francisco (for someone without a vision insurance). Dr. Marilyn was very patient with me until i felt comfortable with the measurements. She was very helpful :)

This place is awesome, i have tried many optometrists across the city and this place is #1 They have a large range of glasses, you will find what you like here. The staff gives you space and time to try as many as you like. I found the eye exam to be accurate and speedy. They have some nice tools to get your prescription and testing done fast. I loved my optometrist, Dr. Marilyn Ng, she is truly the best i have found in San Francisco. My eye has heavy astigmatism and after consulting with her we found the correct contact that fits. She allowed me to try numerous trials and we hit gold (Acuvue Moist). This place is also affordable if you don't have insurance but be aware they do not accept VSP for glasses discounts. The security guard mans the front door and it adds safety when in the store. I found parking around the corner at a lot (same building as California Pizza Kitchen), i think it was $4 for an hour or so and its free if uner 15 mins i think, perfect if your just picking up something quickly. Convenient.
