As a practical stop for massage services in San Francisco, Lily Massage Therapy appears to attract guests who want convenience and flexibility. Customer feedback suggests that last-minute booking can be a plus, and some visitors have shared that they had a lovely experience with therapists who worked hard and showed a solid understanding of the body. Reviews also mention hot stone service as a notable add-on, which may appeal to guests who enjoy extra warmth and muscle relief as part of a session. For nearby residents or travelers staying around Polk Street, Van Ness, or Downtown, the location can be an easy choice when searching for massage options close by.

The atmosphere and overall experience, however, come across as mixed based on public reviews. While some customers describe a good massage and say they would return, others report inconsistency in technique, interruptions during the session, or concerns about professionalism in the front area. Several reviews also raise concerns about session length and tipping interactions. Because of that, people considering Lily Massage Therapy may want to communicate clearly about timing, service expectations, and pricing details before the appointment begins. That kind of upfront clarity can help guests decide whether the experience is the right fit for their comfort level and preferences.

For those browsing for a massage spa in San Francisco, CA, Lily Massage Therapy may be best suited to people who value extended hours and same-day availability, especially when they need a quick appointment without a lot of advance planning. It may also appeal to guests who are specifically interested in straightforward bodywork and optional hot stone treatment. People who prefer a highly polished spa setting or very structured service standards may want to ask questions in advance so they know what to expect.

In a city with many wellness choices, Lily Massage Therapy stands out mainly for its accessible location, long daily hours, and the fact that some customers have found real relief there. At the same time, its review profile suggests that experiences can vary from visit to visit. If you are exploring massage services near Pine Street in San Francisco, this is a place where setting expectations ahead of time may be especially helpful.

Paid for a 60-minute massage but only received 45 minutes, with no apology. The foyer was unprofessional and dingy, though the hot stone add-on was nice. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t return unless improvements are made the most bullshit massage

Good massage but they DEMANDED a 50% tip and started arguing after receiving a 22% tip. Obviously I will not come back and I would not recommend it just because of the rudeness.

We had a lovely massage yesterday. Great place and can book last minute. The therapist had a good understanding of the body and worked very hard. Will go again.

Tip your damn massause. 100% tip is not unreasonable if the massage is already cheap and they did a great job. If you can't afford $100+, you can't afford a massage.

Had really weird experience. Massage itself was odd. Very good at times, other times, it felt untrained and erratic and rough. The lady left the room three times. She asked me if the massage was good if I would tip her. I agreed cause I didn't know what to say. The quality of the massage didn't warrant much of a tip. When we started leaving, she blocked the doorway asking for a tip. I gave her a $20 for two $60 dollar massages that were already paid in cash. She demanded a tip from my sister. I explained the tip was from us both and she argued with me, continuing to block the door. I explained tips are not mandatory. She doesn't seem to understand that. It was very awkward and strange.
