Located at 2070 Lincoln Ave, Lincoln Market is a neighborhood grocery store serving Alameda, California, with the straightforward convenience people look for in a local stop. In Alameda's 94501 area, this small family-run corner market has been familiar to nearby residents for years. Customer reviews describe a place that has continued serving the neighborhood through changing times, including the COVID period. For neighbors walking over, or visitors making a quick stop while out in town, Lincoln Market is a practical choice for everyday purchases close to home.

The market's useful selection is part of its appeal. Customer comments mention beer, liquor, and a few wines, including one reviewer's pleasant discovery of OZV Zinfandel, along with dog food and cat food. These details make it a helpful place when a household needs a few items without a larger shopping trip. The selection is described as that of a neighborhood market rather than a large supermarket, so its strength is a focused, convenient stop. Shoppers looking for local grocery-store convenience and beverage options in Alameda can find a welcoming alternative here. That balance can be useful for a last-minute household need or an easy beverage pickup.

Hospitality stands out just as clearly. Reviewers repeatedly mention the owners and staff as kind, warm, respectful, and attentive to customer needs. That familiarity gives Lincoln Market an easygoing, personal atmosphere that can be especially appealing to regulars, nearby residents, and anyone who values being greeted by friendly people while running an errand.

Value and convenience also surface in the feedback. Several customers call out fair or lower prices compared with nearby markets or liquor stores, while one reviewer says they drive from Oakland for weekend beverages because of the affordability. Those are individual experiences, but they give useful context for shoppers comparing local options. Reviews also describe the store as safe and convenient, qualities that fit a quick weekday pickup, a beverage run, or a stop for pet food and other available essentials.

Lincoln Market is open Monday through Saturday from 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM and Sunday from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, offering broad hours for neighborhood errands. With a 4.4 rating from 30 reviews at the time of listing, it has earned positive feedback for its friendly service, practical inventory, and accessible corner-store setting. Its smaller scale may especially suit shoppers who value a personal, neighborhood-oriented experience. Roberto and his wife are very kind and welcoming. They've been here for a long time, weathered through covid and are still going. Been stopping by since before and long after high school as I live near by, sad to be finally moving away from this lovely neighborhood. They're a small family run corner store. Help support your local businesses and families, grab a drink and snack if you're nearby and say hi to the lovely people. Mom and pop stores are becoming more and more rare by the year...

The staff is very warm and friendly, and just about all your bases are covered there, for a neighborhood market. Good liquors, beers, a few good wines in the back (OZV Zin was a nice surprise) and I saw dog food and cat food too.

Safe, convenient, not to mention fair pricing unlike all neighboring liquor stores. I even drive in from Oakland to get my weekend libations, what I like is much more affordable here.

Very friendly people. And while the selection could be better, their prices are much lower than the market on the next block.
