It's incredibly refreshing to see younger people run businesses in Chinatown - especially traditional Taoist/Buddhist/Feng Shui stores! Lucas, the manager, was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful with finding me what I needed for Chinese New Year & Qing Ming. They have such an insane & interesting collection of Qing Ming offerings, definitely just fun to look at as well! But as an 2nd-generation/American-born Chinese person, I really appreciate Lion Trading for being a cultural pillar continuing to share & teach these aspects of our culture! The store is conveniently located near Portsmouth Square near Downtown along the 1 Muni bus route. It is a little small and easy to miss!

Ba Zi Reading Review: The master was incredibly knowledgeable and gave me clear, thoughtful answers across health, career, relationship, and personal growth. Beyond validating intuitions I already held, the reading brought clarity to patterns I'd been grappling with but hadn't fully articulated. What I appreciated most was that it felt more like a reflective guide than a predetermined narrative--it honored my agency in shaping my future rather than boxing me in.

Very excited they have started to carry paper products for bathroom, kitchen, and personal face use. I have been using their new line of face tissue, bathroom wipes (these can be flushed!), face cleaning wipes, baby wipes (used on my senior dog due to major surgery) and paper towels, cocktail napkins, and kitchen grease wipes (my favorite due to my asthma; I can't use typical cleaning Clorox or Lysol wipes due to their odors). So these various products by C&S have changed my daily life for the better. My husband would always be the one to clean due to my asthma and now I am the one cleaning because of these wipes by C&S. They are the best environmentally friendly products I've come across and I've done my research online. These are fantastic products; they are also more affordable than anything I've used or ordered online. If you need to purchase in bulk; they can give you better pricing. So if you have a business and need in bulk; I really recommend checking these products! I have had great experiences with their customer service. Thank you Lucas for introducing me to these products! Everyone used be testing these items out and supporting a local business instead of going to Costco or ordering from places like Amazon. Check them out if you get the opportunity!

Awesome little shop. Plenty of stuff to buy from altars, lights, incense, joss papers, and porcelain dish. The young guy running the shop is very helpful selecting stuff out. They have premium crystal lights with brass bases available in many different sizes up to 16 inches tall. A set of the 12-inch tall ones go for $500 but the price may vary on season and time. FYI - These are very hard to find locally.

Great selection. Lucas had incredible knowledge and care towards the purchase process he told us how it’s his mom’s shop and the background of the scents and products was incredibly insightful. Even had recommendations for other things in the neighborhood.
