It offers a broad menu for guests looking for Vietnamese comfort food, with customer reviews mentioning pho, crispy chicken, spring rolls, dumplings, and vegetarian choices. The restaurant is open daily from 10:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., making it an option for lunch or an early dinner throughout the week. Its Portland address and consistent hours make it straightforward to plan a visit, whether you are stopping in for a bowl of soup or sitting down to share a few dishes.
Pho is one of the dishes guests call out, including both vegetarian and beef versions. One reviewer describes the pho as arriving piping hot, with fresh vegetables and a well-balanced broth; another wished the meat in their pho had more flavor. That range of feedback offers useful context for diners choosing what to order. Freshness comes up positively in multiple reviews, and the menu appears to give guests room to choose between meat-based meals and vegetarian options. If you enjoy a warm noodle soup with vegetables, pho is a natural place to start, while the vegetarian version may suit guests seeking a meat-free bowl.
Vegetarian diners have especially practical choices here. Customers mention a separate vegetarian side menu that makes options easier to identify, along with tofu spring rolls and vegetable rolls. Reviews describe the vegetables as fresh and the tofu spring rolls as generously sized. Fried dumplings are another customer-mentioned starter, and the combination of rolls, dumplings, and pho can work well for a meal shared across the table. The menu also includes dishes for guests who prefer something beyond soup: crispy chicken is a recurring example, served with crispy rice and, according to one review, a small salad. That guest particularly enjoyed the rice, while noting it was a little oily.
The atmosphere is described by one diner as spacious and relatively clean, and several reviews praise prompt service and food prepared quickly. These details may appeal to people fitting a meal into a busy day, families choosing dishes for different preferences, or anyone who likes having vegetarian and meat-based options in the same restaurant. Customer experiences are not identical, as opinions about seasoning differ, but freshness and the variety of the menu recur in the feedback. Little Saigon Noodles & Grill holds a 4.4 rating from 190 reviews, offering prospective guests a helpful snapshot alongside individual comments.
For a casual meal in Portland, Little Saigon Noodles & Grill brings together Vietnamese noodle soups, crispy chicken, rice, rolls, and other menu choices at one SE Ash Street location. Consider the vegetarian side menu if you want help finding meat-free selections, or look to the guest-favorite mentions of pho, spring rolls, and crispy rice for ideas. The restaurant is open from 10:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. every day at 8165 SE Ash St, Portland, OR 97215. Lots of great veggie and tofu options! They have a vegetarian side menu to make it easy to pick out. Very fresh and delicious
12/10/17: 4.0 out of 5 - Stopped by here since we were heading to Hung Phat. The place is spacious and relativity clean. The food was quick and prepped well. I had the crispy chicken which was tasty. It came with this crispy sticky Rice which was also good, but just a tad bit oily. Otherwise, all the dishes were tasty enough to want to bring me, my wife and friends back. Give the place a try and decide for yourself. Enjoy!
So happy we gave this place a go! The vegetarian and beef pho were both amazing, super fresh veggies, piping hot well balanced broth. The fried dumplings were also delicious. Everything coming out to those dining around us looked equally delicious. We’ll be back!
The service here was prompt, and the food was fresh. There is a large menu with vegetarian options as well. We had the crispy chicken that came with a small salad and crispy rice. The crispy rice was definitely my favorite part of the meal. We also ordered the tofu spring rolls (which were huge), and a Thai ice tea and Boba tea.
Meat needed a little more flavor for the Pho. My kiddo loved the veggie rolls. Iced coffee was really good.
