Luanas Coffee and Beer

What an adorable converted looking house that reminder me of my grandmas. Located in mid-town sorta, but probs downtown Phx. Thursday night is trivia night so definitely get there earlier than start time. It filled up fast. Good bar sitting, super fun comic book menu and fun names for their food items. I had a gluten and dairy free pizza crust. It was like a cracker! The lack of dairy is due to an allergy. But added all the meat! It was too bad, but I don't think I would try again. That was my only option for food given my allergies. Service was fun. The bartender was a cute little thing, with long arms. I say that because that bar is deep back there in some counter spots. I'm not sure if this is normal, but they don't carry Titos. So I tried a bottle of some seltzer. Definitely check them out. It is also a coffee bar and you can do breakfast!

Luanas Coffee is such a cute hidden gem with the best eclectic vintage vibes. It feels like a coffee shop mixed with a cool little bar, with so much personality in the decor, photo props, art, and cozy details everywhere. It is definitely one of those places where you want to sit, hang out, and take pictures. I ordered a dirty chai tea latte and the cutest chocolate chip cookie with sprinkles. The drink was smooth, flavorful, and exactly what I wanted. The cookie was huge, fresh, colorful, and so good. I love when a coffee shop has treats that are actually worth ordering, and this one definitely did. The space itself is amazing. They have darts and a pool table, which makes it feel like more than just a quick coffee stop. It would be perfect for a casual hangout, a cute coffee date, studying, working, or meeting up with friends. The whole place has a fun vintage, eclectic, artsy vibe that makes it stand out from other coffee shops. I also used my AZ Coffee Pass from Southwest Sampler here and the interaction was super easy. The staff made the process simple, and it was a smooth experience overall. The only thing to know is that parking right in front can be a little minimal, but Phoenix College is right next door and there are more parking options in the area. It was not enough to take away from the experience at all. Overall, Luanas Coffee is adorable, unique, and full of character. Great drinks, huge cookies, fun decor, and such cute vibes. I would absolutely come back.

LOVE the vibes here. The staff are so friendly, the drinks/food are delicious (everytime), and the seats are super comfortable. We need more places like this in PHX but I'm so grateful Luanas exists! I just wish I lived closer!

So many cool nostalgic pieces in here. Pool table is nice. High top and bar. Plus individual seating on couches and "grandma chairs" is such a great blend. Coffee is great. Food is great. Love this place 😍 …

The coziest, coolest coffee bar concept I’ve ever experienced! Ordering was easy and entertaining (the comic book menus) and the coffee was immaculate. I will definitely return to explore the menu ❤️
