Great breakfast/bakery place! Stopped by for breakfast and ordered the CATE breakfast Sandwich and the brioche breakfast Sandwich along with London fog teas, and 4 cookies from the bakery and man oh man we were NOT disappointed. The bread on both sandwiches were baked to perfection, the flavor of the ingredients superb. If you are in or around Seattle this is a must stop for breakfast and baked goodies!!!! Will definitely be coming here more frequently.
Stopped here for a quick breakfast on my way to Costco (big Saturday plans you know). There were so many choices both sweet and savory. I got the breakfast BLT and a latte and they were fantastic. The BLT was filling and I really liked the bread. I want to come back to try the pastries. Plenty of seating and street parking. Great atmosphere.
I’ve been to this coffee shop four times now, and unfortunately every visit has been extremely slow. Today I ordered a bagel with cream cheese to go, and it took about 12 minutes to receive it, even though there was only one person ahead of me in line. There were 5 people working at the register, which made the long wait even more surprising. To make it more confusing, the bagel was cold in the bag and the cream cheese was on the side. Cutting the bagel in half and putting it in a bag = 12 minutes for Macrina bakery. I really want to like this place, but the wait times have been consistently long every time I come. I hope the service can improve, because the experience feels much slower than it should be.

If you’re looking to treat yourself, the bakery has a delicious selection. Prices are WAY high though. Chocolate croissant 🥐 almost 6 dollars plus tip? 😬🫤. It was good…but not sure it was worth the price. Not a big fan of the “automatic tipping trend” where the cashier flips around the payment terminal watching to see what you select as a tip. It’s not like the cashier made the croissant. But they did do a marvelous job, grabbing it with tongs and putting it in a bag 😋
