My partner and I came to the mall yesterday in search of buns and came upon this place. We ordered 1 curry 1 ham and corn 2 BBQ pork 2 chicken The curry one was phenomenal. The ham and corn is good but personally would like some pepper to offset a lot of sweetness. The BBQ pork was another winner. The chicken my partner didn't like much but I did for the factor of nostalgia. It tasted like chicken and gravy which is delicious. The man working the counter is very nice and friendly. I see why people come back and we will have to come back as well.

We’ve came here to get some bbq pork buns in the past 2-3 times and it was good. The guy who works there was always polite & welcoming to us. We came in today for some bbq pork buns along w/ some other pastries but met with a very rude lady worker there. She had such a bad attitude & kept rolling her eyes the entire time waiting for us to pick out the pastries. It’s like she was annoyed we were there, she couldn’t even hide it. On top of that, the bbq pork buns were very dried w/ less meat this time. Which sucked. Anyways, with that type of customer service, we won’t be coming back. 😉

Locally owned by a Chinese couple for many years. In my opinion they sell the best fried rice and pork buns in the state. The buns are always fresh and warm and so delicious. I've had fried rice from easily a hundred different restaurants in both the USA and Japan and their fried rice is still one of my faves. Good ratio of rice to other ingredients, generous amount of meat, and not too oily.

Update 12/30/24: I came with my partner for some much needed moon cakes and hombao for my birthday tomorrow, and thankfully there were some!!! I love coming here and hope you try all kinds of their baked or cooked goods! Original review: My mother brought me some of their BBQ pork hombaos and WOWWW. So so so good. :)

I've been buying bbq pork buns from this bakery for about 8 years and I don't think I'll ever get tired of them. They're always consistent, fresh and tasty. Maybe a tad pricey but well worth it. Commons mall is always empty too but it's really nice to be able to get in and out quickly and not have to wait in lines plus it's close to the entrance too.
