Sign in to reviewMags is the only place I get my donuts and croissants in Irvine. My favorite Vietnamese iced coffee too (My mom also came to town and she would ONLY get coffee from mags, that’s how good it is). Navy is always there, her customer service is amazing. I honestly keep going back multiple times a week because of the warmth she brings to the establishment as well. Me and my best friends all love mags, we always go before an exam or when we have to pick up goodies for study group, it’s like our good luck charm. Going to mags and catching up with Navy is the best part of our day. Truly such a great place and people, could not recommend it more.
Definitely would order from here again! I love pastries and Mag’s is awesome. For starters the strawberry cronut is delicious, the cream filled donuts are just right, and my absolute favors, apple fritters and bear claws we amazing. The size of the apple fritters are much bigger than the smaller ones I’ve gotten in the past.
Came in to order a breakfast sandwich and was helped by a young woman who claimed she did not know what that was (despite it being in the menu right behind her). She asked me to repeat my order, which I did. She turns, looks at the menu, giggles, and suddenly half shouts “Order something else!” at me. You couldn’t make this up. This isn’t just bad service, it’s total incompetence.
I often visit Mag's donuts to try out different donuts they make. It is must try for someone having a sweet tooth. Although the name doesn't say it, their coffee is pretty decent as well. Some of the items here are too sweet. For example one of the famous item which I see many people purchasing is Bear Claw. It is nice but just too sweet. Overall very nice place especially for someone craving for sugar.
Everyone is really friendly and helpful. The breakfast burritos are really worth the money. My favorite doughnut is the custard filled one, the whipped cream and strawberries is also good. What I like about this place is that the 🍩 are fresh and they have a good variety to select from..
