I love getting my nails done here. I’ve been coming to Mahalo for a few years and their service is amazing. Rose does great pedicures and Jenny is a fantastic for manicures. Even got my wedding nails done here!

I have never in my life written a google review, but after my experience at this establishment, i’ve been so bothered by the experience that I had to share. I made an appt to get a russian manicure with dip powder on a thursday. nails looked good after, but by that evening there were chips on the sides of three of them. if you have had dip powder you know this is extremely unusual. the next day polish just came off one of the nails entirely and was chipping more at others. i called to see if i could come in to get them fixed; i was advised incorrect walk in times and was not able to go in till monday night for which i had to make an appointment. i walk in and have a 20 min wait. it’s evening time, fine, no big deal. a tech takes me and after starting to examine them said it’s going to cost $25 to fix. i said ????? i called and this is not my fault but your quality. she calls someone over who tells me i won’t have to pay and explains to the tech what to do (i didn’t understand as they were speaking another language). this tech then proceeds to paint the chipped nails a different color (this could’ve been on me as they asked the polish color). it looks very off and i stop her to try to find the correct color, which she hesitatingly finds looking annoyed she has to stop. the new color was also clearly wrong, but i was so frustrated at this point that i left after she finished. i would’ve even been happy to tip this tech for their time but didnt because this experience was frustrating. within days the nails peeled off and chipped, in total this $75 manicure didn’t even last two weeks. i have never had this terrible of an experience with my nails. i will never be returning and caution anyone against coming here.

I’ve been seeing Kim for a few months now and she is amazing. She’s incredibly fast without sacrificing quality, which is perfect for my busy schedule. My gel manicures always look sleek and last for weeks. Consistent, friendly, and super talented!

I brought my daughter for a manicure, and the work felt rushed and incomplete. The nail technician did not properly clean or prepare her nails, and basic steps like proper soaking and cleaning around the cuticles were skipped. The result was messy. When I raised my concerns, the person at the front desk/manager did not have a good attitude and did not really listen to my complaint. Overall, I was very disappointed with both the service and the customer care, and I will not be returning.

***Update*** posting an update and my original review from the website here because their website doesn't allow post updates😒 My first set, while pretty popped off in 5 days. When they did, I realized that the gelx tips were not prepped properly essentially meaning I paid $85 for some press ons with a basic design. But I did go back to give them opportunity to fix them but the tech this time applied nails crooked, didn't cure the gel polish fully so it's now peeling and bubbling, didn't do a thorough clean up around my cuticle leaving excess gel cutting into my cuticle, and wasn't able to execute the correct shape be cause they don't carry medium stiletto gelx tips so I had to settle for almond. With all of that and being that my previous set wasn't applied correctly I asked for a discount but was told no, was charged the regular price for a kid pedi, and then they asked me to tip. I will never be going back and I 100% DO NOT recommend going here. Original review: "This was my first time. I booked a last minute appointment after my regular girl at another shop cancelled my appointment. I was so thoroughly impressed. My nails came out spot on too my inspiration picture, Tyna was incredibly kind and focused on making sure she understood what I wanted, and she was fast as heck without rushing.
