Makai Massage and Spa, LLC

Makai Massage and Spa, LLC is a massage therapist in Portland, OR, offering a place to focus on relaxation, hands-on care, and individual massage preferences. Customer feedback repeatedly highlights deep tissue massage, with reviewers describing sessions that felt meaningfully deep and left them relaxed and renewed. The business is located at 420 NW 11th Ave, Portland, OR 97209, in the city’s Northwest area. For people comparing massage therapists in Portland, the combination of specific feedback about pressure and attentive care can help set expectations: clients mention being able to share what they want and having the session adapted to their preferences.

Deep tissue massage is a particular strength in the reviews. One customer, who had previously found other deep tissue massages insufficiently deep, praised Megan’s work and said they felt good for the following days. Another longtime client described enjoying sports massage and deep tissue, while noting that Megan can adjust to what a client wants. These accounts suggest Makai Massage and Spa may suit people seeking focused, firmer-pressure bodywork, including those interested in sports massage. They are customer experiences rather than a promise of a particular result, and anyone booking can explain their goals and preferred pressure directly.

Attentiveness is another recurring theme. Reviewers describe Megan as taking pride in her craft, paying attention to recovery, and providing an excellent massage experience. Others say they leave feeling relaxed and renewed. That feedback may be useful for people who value communication and a session shaped around their comfort, whether they are seeking deep tissue work or a more relaxing experience. The business has a 4.9 rating from 8 reviews, a small but encouraging set of customer impressions. Individual needs and preferences vary, so sharing relevant context before a session can help make expectations clear.
