Mandarin Spa is a massage therapist in Edmond, Oklahoma, located at 2206 NW 164th St, Edmond, OK 73013. The business offers massage services, including full-body and half-hour massage options mentioned by customers. For people looking for a local massage appointment in Edmond, its location and broad weekly schedule may be useful when comparing nearby providers. Hours are Monday 10:00 a.m.–9:30 p.m., Tuesday 10:00 a.m.–8:00 p.m., Wednesday through Saturday 10:00 a.m.–9:30 p.m., and Sunday noon–6:00 p.m. Contact the business directly to confirm current hours and appointment availability before visiting.

Customer experiences describe a straightforward, no-frills setting rather than a luxury spa. Some reviewers have appreciated the private massage room, relaxing music, and a massage that felt comfortable and professional. One returning customer said the therapist listened to their needs and provided a full-body massage they enjoyed. Another reviewer said staff made them feel welcome. These comments suggest Mandarin Spa may suit someone seeking a simple massage experience and who values a therapist’s attention to their preferences over elaborate amenities.

Feedback is mixed, however, and the overall rating is 3.4 out of 5 based on 11 reviews. Some customers report concerns about cleanliness, the condition of the shop, or food smells near the entrance, while others describe the space as clean and private. Reviews also mention that communication in English can be difficult at times. These differences matter: if cleanliness, a particular atmosphere, or detailed discussion of pressure and technique is important to you, consider contacting the spa first and clearly explaining what you need before the session begins.

Customers have also raised questions about payment and tipping, including a reported credit-card fee that was not explained before a transaction and a request for a specific tip amount. To avoid surprises, ask about the total price, accepted payment methods, any card fees, session length, and tipping expectations before your massage. The available customer comments do not establish a single consistent experience, so setting expectations in advance can help you decide whether the service is a good fit. There is also a review noting that the business does not have a shower facility; check directly if that amenity is important to you.

Mandarin Spa is one local option for massage in Edmond, serving customers who want to explore a full-body session or a shorter appointment. Its later evening hours on most weekdays and Saturday may be convenient for people with daytime commitments, while Sunday hours provide a weekend option. Because reviews include both positive experiences and specific concerns, prospective visitors may want to compare nearby massage therapists, read recent feedback, and confirm the details that matter most to them. For the clearest visit, communicate your preferences and verify pricing and policies before booking.

Shop carpeting dirty and not vacuumed lately. Entered and greeted by older Chinese woman with a mouthful of food trying to chew it and speak. Place smelled strong of food orders in the front doorway. Unpleasant experience. No shower facility. Better places in the area for a massage.

My friend recommended this place to me and I enjoyed the massage, the staff made me feel friendly and the technique was professional and comfortable. This is what I wanted, everyone needs to take good care of themselves.

JUST went in for a massage. I have been coming here for four years. When I went to pay and tip, the lady who did my massage told me how much others usually tip for an $80 massage of $20… that would be well over 20%. While I understand the hard work put into a massage, that is so incredibly rude and inappropriate to say to a CLIENT. I work in hospitality and I understand thoroughly how the tipping system works. I am appalled by this commentary, as she was trying to get me to tip her more and make me feel bad for not going above and beyond with my tip. Tips are 10000% NOT a necessity- I almost didn’t even tip at that point. I unfortunately will find a new massage place as that has totally ruined my experience here.

The woman there spoke very little English and was exceedingly difficult to communicate with. She never told me there was a charge for using a credit card until she'd already ran my card. I did a $40 half hour massage. She asked me how much …

I’ve been several massage places and this is my favorite by far. The shop is not fancy but t is very clean and private, the music in massage room is very refreshing. The lady here is very knowledgeable and listened to my needs and done very well. Full body massage was what I had everytime and it did help with my back and neck.
