Sign in to reviewIt's a cute little Mom and Pop place. Has varieties of instant noodles and varieties of mixed condiments for Thai cooking. Owners are friendly. Due to a little store, prices are little bit high.
Shop here for delicious prepared and packaged Thai food from Thailand and other Asian countries. There are some interesting snacks and canned items on the shelves and tables around the small store and in the freezer at the side entrance. It holds some affordably priced simple to heat and serve desserts and soup items. The friendly cashier / shopkeeper will tell you how to prepare the small packets of fresh frozen ingredients for Tom Yum soup with seasoning block. BBQ sweet rice with taro and coconut milk wrapped in banana leaves(?) is fresh tasting after a couple of minutes in the microwave. Visit on Fridays for a nice and savory curry potato pastry shaped like an empanada. This curry puff pastry is a very popular snack in Thailand, Malaysia and Singapore. The official name in Thailand and Malaysia is “Karipap”, spelled กะหรี่ปั๊บ in Thai. I believe it's still cash only.
One of the best places in southern California for Thai snacks and cooking ingredients, without the frustrations of traffic and having to find parking compared to going to Thai Towne near downtown LA.
